Current Qantas First Lounge Menu (SYD/MEL) and relevant topics

Given Red Roo has been more active of late - maybe a regular update of the F lounge menu could be a job to add to the list...
 
Served extremely undercooked 'grilled' snapper in the SYD F lounge today (and confirmed by the 'chef'). Quite disappointing.

It is a strange thing that we like to complain when something is not quite right. I imagine the Chefs in the First Lounge did, during the day, cook hundreds of other meals that were simply perfect!..

Well I will be in there on July 4 so keeping my fingers crossed ... as is my son!

It was not just undercooked, it was extremely undercooked. I would think the majority would of sent that dish back.
 
I'll have 1½ hours in MEL on Wednesday, followed by 4+ hours in SYD on Thursday - looking forward to it. (Don't mind my Fish 'undercooked' as long as it comes with some wasabi and soy ... p)

I have boarded QF11 now so it is too late for that. As an aside, in J, didn't we use to be able to get a steak sandwich etc as a snack mid flight? I note it does not appear on the current menu.

I appreciate your disappointment, however glad you were able to have it addressed asap with the chef concerned. I'm sure they would have been equally concerned and offered an alternative.
 
This looks like a very good menu. Can't wait for the Wagyu Carpaccio on my next visit, which will go well with the Coldstream Hills Pinot I think. The meatballs also sound very interesting so I might have to 'research' those too :) Glad I've got a few trips through SYD and MEL during winter to try out all of this. Good effort QF.
