Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

A couple of cheap 6 packs on finewineco, Catalina Sounds Pinot $90 and a Rising Shiraz/Pinot blend for $60.

I've grabbed the Rising, will report once I've tasted.

I have had mine which I would describe as reasonably smooth and fruity but a bit more medium bodied than what I expected.

Acceptable for the price but don't think it would be your cup of tea
I concur. It’s more like a cool climate shiraz, I was wondering if it needs more time. I also got the Serafino Bellissimo Primitivo at the time which is doing just nicely right at the minute with a pizza.
Bit sad that the Rising Shiraz Pinot sold out already on finewineco.

I'm really happy with the Warner's corner. It's decent value at the $20 rrp. It's amazing at 3.25 a bottle
So am I. Had a couple of bottles and it’s definitely a crazy value drop at that price. At the time the other sounded more interesting, glad I stuck with the Warner’s

via Another great vintage from Borgogno! Introducing the 'Classico' Barolo 2016... A cellar must-have.
somewhat similar to the bargain that is Naked & Famous' Unbranded jeans, Borgogno have a No Name Langhe Nebbiolo that is actually declassified Barolo (but of course our taxes end up making it less attractive here than the local/Melbourne-made Linnaea Trifulau Barolo)

JD Secret Wine #287 down from $150 to $58.82 is Maverick Ahrens’ Creek Mourvèdre 2019 (GW95).

I do get what @boomy is saying, however to get those prices, all the stars need to be aligned to an absolute perfection (I never had 15% Amex even thought I do have Amex) and there is a lot of dicking around involved getting them one by one like herding cats.
+1
It is 20% Cashrewards cashback that may not be approved eventually just like with any other purchase there.
forgotten what you posted yesterday? :)
It is an approved code and it is not Penfolds- it is a mixed case.

Probably didn't articulate myself well, what I meant to say that the cashback is always risky regardless. Recently I made two subsequent purchases at BWS (buying Eileen Hardy Shiraz) just recently in exactly the same fashion using my computer maybe 15 minutes apart - the first one tracked, the second one didn't.

Just grabbed Skillogelee wines for $10 a piece, was offered to me through a family member.

I only grabbed 3/3, anyone tried any of the range?

iirc from similar previous promotions, only for the weekend, as opposed to the whole lockdown period, though hopefully i'm wrong

if it doesn't track, then lodge a cashback claim - if all special terms have been met, then there shouldn't be any risk

I have, as I said above the first transaction tracked, the second didn't. I made both purchases from the same computer 15 minutes apart and did not click on anything except on BWS site. I have also reactivated the cashback. It was a regular one - no special caps/conditions attached.

This is the reply - a standard copy and paste I suppose
