Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Does anyone know how long the TWC free Vic shipping goes for?
ends midnight tonight:

2017 Marius Simpatico Shiraz McLaren Vale is around $48 in 6 online, not vintage and no idea if that's a good price
Not sure how good 17 vintage was but I can say that 18 was a stunner. If you find any 18s, buy!
MB96, GW95 - $48 @ Summer Hill in 6pk

I did - but they asked for an actual tax invoice. Try to reproduce yours. There is a little button that says "resend" the tax invoice and it sends just an email without the date on the invoice- so catch 22
so the click was recorded, but the purchase didn't track? send them the order confirmation or paypal email, which is date/time-stamped - if that doesn't resolve it, then try contacting them via OzBargain, Facebook, productreview.com.au

Originally I sent them a screenshot of the email with a date and time stamp but they requested an actual tax invoice. Will try the other avenue as you suggested. And yes, click got registered

I've had a few times with shopback that the click has registered but not tracked. Every time the missing cashback process has worked for me without having to run around. I always point out that the cashback was pivotal in my proceding with my decision to enter into the transaction at all, that it has always worked in the past and that this doesn't happen on Cashrewards so I'll have to use them until this is sorted...

Dandelion are doing their usual EOFY mystery dozen deals. I'm tempted but don't want a case of whites (although their rieslings are very good). Does anyone have previous experiences that they are willing to share?
Haven’t really had a bad wine of theirs. Rieslings are good as mentioned, Shiraz and reds have also been decent, prob worth a punt.

Saw this @ $78 per case of 6 - DM - https://www.danmurphys.com.au/produ...tle-vineyar-mt-benson-cabernet-sauvignon-2018
Cellarmasters have 2017 at $132 per case - Black Wattle Mt Benson Cabernet Sauvignon (6-pack) 2017
Vivino 3.7 based on previous vintages, known to anyone ?
It’s a Woolies owned brand.

I can’t comment on the Cab Sav or the ‘17 vintage, but I did buy a dozen ‘14 shiraz for <$8/btl a few years back expecting a mid week quaffer. After the first bottle it was clear to me it had some potential.

Left the rest alone until last year and they’ve been well received at bbqs and casual meals etc.

My comparison wine at the $16 price point is usually Church Block. The shiraz is on par in my view.

I’d happily buy at or below $12.

Strictly speaking not a deal but the 2019 Standish Lamella sold out on the site within hours and pretty much out of stock at other retailers due to extremely low allocations off low yields.

Available currently at Langton's at max 2 bottles @ $120/btl:

Also available here to purchase as part of the whole Standish collection (no Andelmonde this year due to low quality).

Already sold out on langtons and I missed it direct from Dan this year too 😭😭

Possibly not as good as the one mentioned but here are some availability here

Thanks so much, I already have quite a bit of the standish and ST, really chasing the lamella. Will grab the different drop pack in need if no one knows of any lamella around

Unfortunately, you are probably out of luck with the Lamella (given it sold out direct in about an hour) - most retailers already reached out around allocations a couple of weeks ago expecting the bottles to land this week.

With that said, some might still appear - wouldn't necessarily expect the DD pack to last either (it's quite reasonably priced).

2months ago I bought a relic 2018 in TWC with the survey voucher, they still has stock. I guess 18 is better than 19. What makes 19 so popular? You can try to look for early vintage in standish winery. I believe they have stock and also available in magnum.

DD pack already sold out. I got 6 lamella's direct this year but only 2 bottles of the 2018 last year. If anyone in Brisbane missed out on the 2019's and has some excess 2018's they want to swap I'd be keen to balance up my numbers and even tip in $10-15 per bottle given the 2018 is probably the slightly better vintage. PM me if keen but only if you have 2018's to swap.

- Probably more lower supply driving the clean out of stock. Lamella especially is notoriously difficult to buy at retail.
- 12 months of more word of mouth
- 12 months closer to the day you look back and say "remember when the Standish wines were only ~$100"
Hit the nail on the head.. absolute cracking wine. I’d still see value at $200/bt TBH

lamella in general is hard to obtain.
I’m on direct list from Dan, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting a couple of times. He’s so great to chat to. I was in hospital when 2019 release came out so timing off for me for lamella this year unfortunately
