Make sure to check the cashback, they incorrectly gave me 1% instead of 25% this morning.

I ordered 10.27pm, and ordered a normal red wine (not Penfolds).
I had the same issue - 1%.
However the site lists 15% rather than 25% as of this morning
25% ended 11pm AEDT yesterday

Remarkable State sparkling shiraz is certainly no gimmick, to say the least. The depth of dark fruit, bramble and tannins make it taste a class act and a steal at a tenner. Many thanks to earlier proponents.
Seemingly sold out last week but was able to purchase yesterday. Delivery sourced from Casula. Might kick of Christmas Eve celebrations with a bottle.

Terrible influence. I went and ordered the 2019 as well. $25 off was the deal maker.
I tossed up between the 19 and 20, in the end went for the older one. They were delivered yesterday, I offered a taste to my recently 18yo non wine drinking daughter - the response: “that’s delicious”. I agreed !

I'm fairly sure that in the past where a DM competitor has a very good price on a commonly stocked wine that a check of DM finds the "Out of Stock" status. ie - DM doesn't want to compete
with the competitors price.
YMMV, but that is what I reckon I've seen many times.

I was told by DM staff that they won't price match the clearance stock too.

It’s very much state and store dependent. For example in VIC I found many store managers checking carefully the fine print then go online to see if the item is currently in stock while in QLD at most stores I have visited the managers are happy with just a screenshot, not caring if the vintage is matching or if the competitor has any stock left. At some more remote stores I was even told DM don’t usually PM clearance stock but “since you are here we’ll let you grab few bottles, just this time…” :)

I got them on chat and sent them a BWS clearance link to match (he usual 1/2 of the full freight RRP). They had it in stock but sent me a fine print stating that they won't be matching online clearance prices. I cannot locate it so perhaps it is no longer an obstacle.
