Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Two dozen of the Dolcello a while back and I'm almost tempted to stock up on more :) As @beefarmer would say "good is good"...
Thanks for thinking of me. It is a truism and I have had about 4 botts of the Angoves Riesling traminer that i scored 2 cases from grays, $44 then $29, and it is damn good. Really damn good. A tinge of sweet would not suit many but good is good. Anything for a fiver that is better than good and it sounds like the Dolcello is, well hit the buy button. I still remember going out to Thai years ago and pulled out the first white for many to sample. Oh thats nice everybody replied. It was $9 a case, only one bidder, plus delieveretc. A stunning two bucker. That was better than good is good.
Good drinking WanD !

Thanks for the tip, but wow, 30% off some insanely high prices! Some even claim to attract a further black friday discount if you spend over $150 but I'm struggling to find a bargain...
Ever since they increased prices on Wynns Black,I'm also struggling to find anything decent on BB nowadays. I think they are competitive for Beer and Spirits given CUB ownership but less so for wine

The Lanson Extra Age is mentioned on the champagne thread and vg value IMO (but I like good fizz)

I agree completely.
Off topic but right now boozebud's Tanqueray10 pricing with cashback is sharp.

Amazing deal thanks qaz, importantly they have the new vintage of the Dr Edge Oregon Pinot Noirs which always sell out quickly each year, and I undersrand because of bushfires a lot of their single vineyard offerings from Oregon won’t be back again.

I would check the reviews on winefront for those new 2019 Dr Edge Oregon wines first.

Would you like to share the reviews?

Was thinking to get a bottle of Chehalem Mountains PN.
19 Chehalem Mountains - 85 points
19 Eola Amity Hills - 84 points
19 Van Duzer Corridor - 89 points
19 Willamette Valley - 87 points

I recall the winemaker also made a comment after seeing the reviews that he hadn't had a chance to taste them given he couldn't travel over there with covid restrictions.

Yep Dredgy commented and said they went straight off the boat to GW to review, which was unfortunate. The prior vintage was very good.

On the flipside Chardonnay South is available 94+ (CM).

Thanks Qaz. Picked up some Dilworth & Allain, Romsey, Pinot Noir, 2020

I bought the Dr Edges before the reviews came out. Tried one last week. Massive regret. Will be using them for Sangria!

Having had the 2018 Chehalem earlier this year, I'd just loaded my cart with the collection of 19s. Glad that I kept reading!

Thanks for the helpful feedback all.

This is an interesting 3 pack of new age italians for sub $95
