which I think is Penny's Hill Footprint. Any thoughts?

Could be. Interestingly Penny Hill use a similar description for both the 2011 and 2012 vintage.

Have you tried any Footprint before?
Vintage wise '12 is better than '11. Winery sold out '11.
Limited release 3100 bottles for 2011 and 4775 bottles for 2012.

No. Although tried other Penny's Hill wines. They are a solid reliable producer.

We had a simple pizza night out last night and thought should sample a couple of the Kemenys hidden label purchases.



First up up was the Obsidian - WOW - simply WOW - stunning quality and value at $19 IIRC - I have called Kemenys this morn but alas not surprisingly none left - I guess moral is sample all purchases imm just in case you do fluke a stunner like this.

The Leconfield was quite OK for $18 but not in same league as Obsidian.

Kemenys did tell me this morn they have another star - a 2012 Clare Valley Shiraz - RRP $80 down to $45 - KHL 2485.

TBH I did not ask - I had looked on Kemenys site earlier and saw nothing that was in that price range. No idea why price so much higher jk.

Crikey really? I called them this morn and specifically asked about stock - none left was the answer.

I think the place you ring is like a warehouse. Different to the actual store. Different stock access/inventory.

There were about 3 cases left in the store.

I usually find that what's on their website doesn't reflect exactly whats in the store.

I've got some amazing bargains by visiting the store that weren't available online or via the phone.

Samsung showed up today. Annoyingly... It's got a heap of stuffed pixels (a big purple line down the screen). Wonder how easy a replacement will be....

Definitely got a faulty TV, mine works well.
I suspect it won't be easy to replace as its a discontinued model AFAIK.
Maybe WB have some leftovers in their stock.

I guess a few calls are in order tomorrow.

My TV came with a docket with exactly who to call should there be any issue. It wasn't Samsung. I'd tell you who, but I threw it out once I concluded I had no issues.

Opened the first bottle tonight. Very interesting full flavoured Pinot seems ready to drink for a while now. It's a bargain for $20. Shared some with my neighbours who also approved this fine drop.

How so, the savings ($14.17) is 58.6% of the RRP ($24.17)? Ignoring rounding looks right to me.
