If anyone is interested.

Used the Amex spend $60 get $30 back to buy six Moet from Bocaccio Cellars at approximately $33 a bottle delivered. The poor cellarman was a bit surprised but processed with no qualms, so they have my endorsement.

This is a good price point for Moet IMO; I prefer it to the other usual suspects. More often than not it delivers a bit of brioche with crisp fruit at the end, which is no mean feat given they sell around 3M bottles a year!

I think you're bang on after reading the giveaway line "Perfectly matched with all richly flavoured foods, meats, stews, game or mature hard cheeses. Alluring on the palate our Lionheart commands company with food and friends." I'm sorely tempted to grab case of this especially with a $50 CM voucher on hand, is it as good as it sounds?

Alluring on the palate our Lionheart commands company with food and friends." I'm sorely tempted to grab case of this especially with a $50 CM voucher on hand, is it as good as it sounds?

I was a tiny bit disappointed with the The St Hallet Hampel Shiraz I got from them when I signed up but it's probably my palate playing tricks...

From what I can work out, that's a "made for Vintage Cellars" special that retails at around $25, which probably puts it a few rungs below the Blackwell and others. I'm very biased though, and LOVE the St Hallett reds. To my tastes, even the Faith is a great wine when it's aged a few years - I recently had a 2002 that was superb.
