This was mentioned a short while ago in this thread. I picked up one a few weeks ago and it had a better wine than the CR, which is a substitute from the original offer. Still great value though, especially with 5% off wish card and cash rewards (7%).

Do any of our Taswegian friends have any intel on this?
Clarence House Estate Pinot Noir 2015

I had the 2010 at a restaurant about a year and went home that night and bought a case. It is quite full bodied, like, say Curly Flat, rather than a lighter style. I have my last 2 bottles of the 2010 hiding in the bottom of my wine fridge. I have not had the 2015 yet, but hear good things about the vintage.

Cheers

Just sizing up an order to take advantage of 6 Amex on the Boccaccio offer. Shipping is $30 for me (!) so want to make it a dozen and claim the free shipping. Figure I'll get 6 cheapies and then a few for the cellar.

6 Jim Barry Watervale Riesling 2016 $91.14
1 Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier 2015 $89.99
1 Seppelt St Peters Shiraz 2013 $64.99
1 Grosset Polish Hill Riesling 2016 $49.90
1 Hoddles Creek Estate 1ER Chardonnay 2015 $49.99
1 Balnaves The Tally Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 $84.99
1 Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Shiraz 2013 $49.99
Order Subtotal $480.99

Which will come to $360 after credits. If I attribute $80 of that to the Watervale (a very nice drop btw) I'm pretty happy with my $280 6 pack :)

Given you can buy 6 JB Watervale Riesling from Dans for $84 perhaps consider a different cheapie? Agree they are great value for money.

For once I think I've worked out a "secret" wine deal all on my own, it's the 2013 CABERNET SAUVIGNON Thompson Estate Vineyard being offered by James Dominguez Cellars today down from $50 a bottle to $18.82 Secret Wine #89. This actually does sound like an absolute gift coming from a Halliday 5 Red Star winery, the masked one says: "85% cabernet sauvignon, 5% each of malbec, cabernet franc and merlot. Good hue; this is pure cassis, not blackcurrant per se. This fruit is given another dimension by its oak and silky tannins. Screwcap. 14% alc. Rating 95 to 2033 $50" bloody tempting!

Good spot W&D

Someone actually raised this earlier on another thread. I tried this at the cellar door 6 months ago and its very good indeed.

Well worth a boom, I'm tempted but have no space at the moment

Thanks Warlock, Just read the post 5 minutes before this on the other thread logged at 11.00 am, always the bridesmaid! I'm just attempting to make an order but have forgotten my password (I registered quite while back) and they are taking their sweet time to mail out a reset link, just have to be patient I guess....

Qantas Epicure sale today. Anyone noticed anything special and worth buying?

Uncle Dan's secret selection looks to be murray street vineyards gomersal shiraz 2012. Has anyone tried this before? Will be around $24 with discounts

Firstly, I don't think it is. Price is wrong.

Having said that I can comment on the wine. IF you like your big Barossa Shiraz, then you'll like this. Personally I preferred the Greenock Shiraz as a little more restrained. MSV is actually a fantastic place to visit if in the Barossa. A platter on the patio with a tasting is the way to go. They also have a decent back vintage selection available to buy at decent prices too.
