Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Is this still available?

All I can see is this link:

Dessert Wines 2010 Auction (0001-2448903) | GraysWine Australia

which says it was $2.84 a bottle

I've had it before from the winery and enjoyed it. At under $3 a bottle you got a great bargain!

I, er, had to fend off a determined rival literally at the last minute - they cost me about $10 apiece all up. So not such a super-special price but still quite happy (pending sampling), especially since I couldn't find a trace of them being available anywhere else - this was the only one available. 2,230 THB = AU$83 is the only price guide I could find. Great to hear your positive response.

$10 is fine.

It was at least 5 years ago that I purchased it direct from the vineyard, but it would have been at least $18 a bottle.

I'll be trying to get some via Greys for anything under $10.

They also made a great sparkling ice wine which I'd recommend.

Also got: Elliot Rocke Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 (12 x 750mL), Mudgee, NSW.

Is this from Westpac for their customers?

yes, i heard about it here a few months ago from another member, and I had marketing to off in my settings or something. I turned it on and finally got my first statement credit offer

They had a good first choice one 150/50 I think it was

I just had a call from Cellardoor.co - they have a lot of phone-only specials at ~10% off their normal (good) prices. If you're a member and there is anything on their site you're interested in, I'd suggest giving them a call to see what they can do. I couldn't resist 6 bottles of the Seppelt Chalambar shiraz at $15 each (listed at $18.50), it's $19 and up most other places. They have most things in 6-packs and free shipping.

I think I can send invites (I got mine via someone here), so PM me your email address if you're interested. I get nothing from that AFAIK, just paying it forward :-)

By invitation only, cellardoor.co is an exclusive members only community for the family and friends of Treasury Wine Estates employees.cellardoor.co features over 50 wineries from some of the world's leading nations including Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, and the United States.
It also provides members with a direct connection to iconic wineries such as Penfolds, Wynns Coonawarra Estate, Wolf Blass, Coldstream Hills, Devil's Lair, and Matua Valley.

W&D, you should jump on this invite.

It is free with no commitment to spend a cent, and they do have some sharp pricing - with the added bonus of free delivery

Anyone used their AMEX cards at Boccaccio already?

Looking for ideas what to buy, so far can't see any special bargains, even at 25% off.

10% off TWE website this weekend. St Peters 2014 for $50 looks like a great price. 96pts on wine front from CM
