This is what makes wine great though IMHO. The differences in what people like and the discussion that goes with it :)
And that right there folks says it all - that says it all - and there is only one thing that makes sharing a bottle of red and discussing that and other reds a better experience - and that is listening to Louis Armstrong's What A Wonderful World at the same time.

I get to listen to this song every second day on QF radio channel 4 :p

I got the email. It's for the Moet in a cream suit. Listed as $45 per bottle so looks like you don't need to order 6.

I finally got it as well...assuming it's the one with the Lagavulin and Becks in it as well.

Thanks TM. Ordered 2 bottles to collect tonight when I'm at their sale. Good to see that there was no need to buy 6 bottles to secure this price.
All part of the current click frenzy sales that are happening...

Been to Dan's - back home - first to post - does that mean I win?

I was actually back home at 19:23 $2,138.20 lighter - but after hanging out a load of washing then realised in my excitement at Dan's I left my phone there - so back I had to go to retrieve.

I'll make a list of what I bought and post it - if I show you mine will you guys show me yours?

Just came back.

Ended up buying a case of 06 St Henri...$58, can't help myself

Sounds like there were some good buys

The 99 Grange is still available if anyone's keen

Not often I'm surprised, but I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings at the DM sales event tonight.

Even had to fight people off! They were trying to pinch the BIN 138's out of my trolley. No one was happy that I bought them all!

Offerings seem to be store specific. Here's a list of what was available at my local DM.

Yes just returned from Dans
and Dr Ralph I think you were at my Dans and you didn't get all the Penfolds 138. I got 2 before you.
We were very happy with our purchases. There weren't many people at our Dans although they said there was one guy who was there checking out the bottles 2 hours beforehand.
They eventually let him buy before the 7pm start. He collected some of the one offs.
Not all bottles were available at all stores, depending on their stock.
The staff were very helpful and even opened a few bottles for tasting.
