Ah, it was still just a decent quaffer, not much lostLooking forwards to it. Didn't even think to get the serafino though... with all the recent mount mary, domaine A, cullen deals ☹

Maybe the team at Cellar One read this thread... I'm in for a case. Some discussion of St Hallett a few days ago. 2017 Blackwell on sale at Cellarone for $26.50 / bottle for a 6 pack. Any views on whether that is a good price?
Olivers Taranga Shiraz 2018 @ $21 after the discount is a good deal.30% off all wine at WineDirect. Any recommendations?
Choose 12 or more bottles from the single bottle range (excluding French Champagne) and you'll get 30% off with the use of the code: TRUCKINOUT.
damn, who got onto the woolworths price error? i just saw it on ozbargain and missed out, albeit have no idea about quality of wine.
They had some average whites (and a couple of reds?) that when bought in a halfdozen the pricing would drop to $10 for the lot upon checkout. I had no interest (read: envy) because am in Qld where they dont sell liquor. What error?
What error?

My Purchases of BlackwellDepends on your perspective. It is a good price versus such traditional good prices as Dan murphy's - who have it listed for I think about $39 a bottle. It is a solid product, so I doubt there is much scope for super discounting to happen, so all in all, if you like it, it is a very good price.
My Purchases of Blackwell
1999-2009 $21-$26
2010 $28
2012 $25
2013 $28
2014 $25
2015 $22
2016 $26
2017 $20 after a discount for referrals
Also the half-bottles at $11.00-$15 for 2006-2017 vintages, 2017 @ $12.50
Yes and No, the 2017 was from Cellar One on the current offer, I had some referral dollars from recent Forum member sign-ups via my referral link and buys, $20 per referral. The others were all regular offers from various sources and not always the best prices for that vintage.Well there we have it - Redbigot has sourced this wine way below the mainstream price for years. And he can get the 2017 for $20, which is well below both Dan Murphys and CellarOne. I tip my hat to RedBigot.
......
The interesting thing here is that like a small number of other Barossa Shiraz, the price hasn't really increased for nearly 20 years and the quality is still consistently good. How do they do it?.

Lots of curtis and allegiance on Winedirect, but I picked out a few bottles of Heirloom and Dandelion which worked out well priced when you included the 30% off and free shipping.
Any ideas what this chap is?
Secret 96pt 2016 Super Premium McLaren Vale Shiraz Dozen
This is a crackingly good drop off old McLaren Vale vines, packed with concentrated blue and black fruits. Powerful and graceful at the same time. The silky fruit is made more complex with spice, smoked meats and fine, supple tannins. It’s medium to full bodied and has great length and texture -...www.winedirect.com.au
Yep, Curtis Limited Series McLaren Vale 2016. Funny, Dans is really listing it for $70 and Qantas for $80.Probably Curtis. Massively inflated price, and from McLaren Vale.
Only ever drank from once, so can't say to their durability. Notably light, probably a smaller rim diameter compared to your zaltos. More of a whites glass to me.Apologies, probably not the thread for this but this seems to be the most lively.
Anyone tried the JR stems, need to replace a few Zalto universals? Better yet if anyone knows of any deals, unfortunately missed those awesome Plumm sales from last year.
