Can anyone recommend a dry (dry as can be please) Pinot Grigio in the low to mid price range on Cellarmasters? Normally I would default to the Italian Pinot Grigio's but none seem to be of particular value?

I went through to your link Dr Ralph but the Secure parking site seems to say the voucher will be provided via the email linked to your secure account... is there a way around this?
In the short term I'd advise you to join secure parking. It costs nothing and then you'll have access to any future offers like this one.

And you may even get lucky - when I joined their site around 6 years ago won a cruise!

Having issues with Cracka on two half dozens at the minute - Serafino Shiraz 15 and Teusner Joshua 16. To be honest I don't mind waiting 7-10 days but the lack of communication and inability to confirm if/when stock will arrive does get frustrating. That said this is the first time I've had an issue with them.

Cracka just cancelled my Teusner order - coincidentally it's the same wine GraysOnline cancelled during a 20% off sale earlier in the year.

Sorry to hear :( You can currently buy the 2016 Joshua from BWS for $24.15 after 25% off, 3% Cashrewards, 5% off WISH

I've never had a cancellation, but besides eventually receiving my orders, I've been given double, replacement with a better wine, or extra rewards points

If you're specifically looking for Teusner have you looked at:

Teusner Riebke Mataro 2015

Don't forget there is a spend $130 get $60 off offer for Cellarmasters via Secure Parking at the moment:

Christmas Bonus

As an alternative mataro option, there's the Mataro 6 Pack that also includes Caillard, considered one of the best

Nice :) Who/What/Where?

Alway interesting to read issues from Cracka - where I haven't had an issue in the past 2 year. I also source from the same list as Dr Ralph (excluding Vinomofo).

Cracka just sent through this FWIW:

Christmas time needs great wines.

No matter whether you celebrate it or not, the festive season demands the best. Those 'rainy day' wines, that you've been hanging onto for the right time.

Today, I've lined up what is the ultimate wine for that very special day in the 2012 Mystery Icon Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Indeed this Cabernet isn't just a wine, it's a statement. A very limited Clare Valley 'Grand Vin' in the proud Bordeaux tradition, that aims for the stars. That means the finest parcels of grapes, quality-at-all-costs winemaking, the best oak and a stunning, gift-worthy presentation box. The cream of the cream.

This spectacular red comes highly lauded by the critics too, with 98 points from one reviewer, plus 96 from James Halliday, 95 from Bob Campbell MW, and critical acclaim from just about everyone.

How does it taste? To me, this is the very essence of Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Think sumptuous dark fruit, lavish oak and, thanks to the wine spending over a month on skins, the most incredible life-affirming tannins and a finish that lasts for minutes.

Oh yes, this will live for decades (for the next rainy day).

Right now, this mega wine is sold at the (famous) winery cellar door for $200 a bottle - a price befitting a flagship red. But today, I'm letting this go as a mystery wine for just $120/bottle - a monster $80 off PER BOTTLE! Plus it is in 3 packs (so one for a gift, one for now and one for the cellar).

Did I mention that this red is limited? We have just 20 x 3 packs available, and that's it. No more. Don't miss your opportunity to nab a truly exceptional Clare Valley red at a never-to-be-repeated price.

Order via the website here or give the team a call on 1300 727 252 and we can give more clues about the wine's identity!

Cracka just called offering '10 Shadrach at $55 (phone only - wont go on website.... blah, blah, blah)

Moet is back up as of yesterday afternoon (and still there now) on Cellarmasters. Groupons still available. By my maths it should come down to almost $30 on the nose per bottle with CR and Wish. Just grabbed a 6 pack.

I don't want to be a big jerk, but I reckon Moet Chandon is one of the most overrated, overbranded, sparkling whites that you can get. I'd spend an extra $20ish a bottle and go Veuve Clicquot, or even spend significantly less and get the Pirie Tasmania Sparkling, which is just a crazy bargain with that $100 voucher. It's delicious, I prefer it to Moet by many lengths. But anyway, don't fall for the marketing of Moet Chandon! It's just an expensive label.

I recently bought Riversdale Estate Grown Tasmania Pinot Gris 2016 based purely on the scores the website listed, and I found it to be moderately dry, perhaps not as dry as you're looking for? Though I'm not too wild on Pinot Gris! I'm just wondering, if you're after an awesome dry white for summer, there are some cracking Rieslings floating about!

Dandelion Enchanted Garden Of The Eden Valley Riesling 2015
Mockingbird Hill Slate Lane Polish Hill River Clare Valley Riesling 2015
AND ESPECIALLY Mockingbird Hill Hayshed Block Single Vineyard Clare Valley Riesling 2016

The last of which I just recently picked up and I reckon it's just what you're looking for with regard to acidity. If you want to use a groupon voucher, pair it up maybe with the Riversdale Sparkling Pinot Gris Gift Pack that includes a bottle of the aforementioned Pinot Gris, so you could see if that catches your fancy?

Fantastic mate thanks!

Definitely a case of different horses for different courses. I think Moet is a perfectly drinkable entry level champagne and the vast economies of scale LVMH brings to production has only increased quality in recent years. I'd go as far as to say that, for readily accessible Champagne, Moet is my go to pick (when vintage Krug is not at hand).

On the other hand I have had a hard time drinking my Pirie that I bought about this time last year; I find it astringent, lean, acidic and lacking depth.

No accounting for taste I guess...

Horses for courses for sure--at the end of the day you like what you like.

That said, my issue with Moet is not so much that it is bad, though I don't rate it, but it's moreso that its branding accounts for the majority of its price, whereas you could spend the same amount of money and get a far superior bottle of champagne or sparkling white. Moet produces something in the region of 25 million bottles a year at this point, and they can't keep up the quality of years gone by with that level of production--how could that with the sheer amount of grapes from all of the different sources they'd need just to bottle that much champagne?

The current product, in my opinion, makes up for that lost edge with sweetness. It still has good bubbles, no doubt about that, but it's a pretty different experience than that of old. Regardless, the reason that they make 25 million bottles a year is because they have an insanely strong brand, and people will buy it and like it on account of its label alone. It's the safest bet on champagne! I just think that if you're going to spend proper money on champagne or sparkling white that was made within the last few years, Moet is not the way to go.

Fast on the heals of the Cabernet. This 'Mystery' Shiraz has been taking form at CM for a while. Surely the price will get adjusted though? At present it's at single bottle SRRP, which doesn't make much sense. Might end up being a really nice QPR wine judging by the Cabernet price previously.

I've had the 2014 and found it quite a decent drop.

It will be 2015 Dandelion Vineyards Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz

I bought mine for Christmas gifts... if I was buying for personal consumption I’d be on the Arras Brut Elite for value for money

Indeed, my fellow colleagues are busy buying the CM Groupon vouchers these two days to purchase the Reynella Limited Cellar Release Shiraz 2015 (CM red wine of the year 2017 : Link), buy two cases and with the voucher will reduce the bottle price form rrp $36.99 to an insane $4.6! I assume cashreward cannot be used.
