Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

2019 Swinney Farvie Syrah (JO96, MB95) or Grenache (JO96, MB93+) $132 @ International Fine Wines
When I tasted the first vintage releases of Swinney’s top red wines under the Farvie label, the 2018s, I was most impressed with the grenache. In 2019, as good as the grenache is, it’s the syrah that steals the show. An arresting wine from the first sniff: glorious ripe black fruit, but restrained and enticing rather than showy. Then lovely, satisfying density of ripe fruit on the tongue, too, but held together by long, seamless tannins. Really stylish wine.

$44.99/$45.99 @ The Wine Collective (plus $9.95 delivery, less 8.8% Cashrewards and $20 voucher)
free delivery sitewide with $50 spend today (possibly until 7.59am tomorrow AEDT) - excludes WA/TAS/NT

also until tomorrow selected accounts have either:
  • Received $20 Worth of Bonus Loyalty Points (10,000 points loaded)
  • Spend $199+ and receive 12,500 Bonus Loyalty Points (Worth $25)
Unfortunately I missed out on the 10k points, same as with their Wine Reward Week at the start of this month - when I asked about that earlier promotion, this was their response:
The 10k points offer was also only sent to a certain customer group - those who had not had their account activated / finalised with us, and those who were regarded as inactive customers.
Anyone not in that category was sent a different offer, which you had been sent an email for. This was the "Receive $30 of points when you spend over $199".
:(

Punished for being an active customer 🤦‍♂️ I didn't get it either.

And your name, address and phone number were published in this thing called a telephone directory.
..and now we have things like randomized MAC address in Android 11, becuase it's an intrusion of privacy to know your childs physical MAC address for network scheduling. I'm probably considered abusive for not letting my kids have phones until they're 15 aswell

Leasingham Classic Clare Riesling 2018 $23.33 in a 6 (was $58) on Cellar One.

Recently picked up 97 from Huon Hooke if that means much. 95 JH

Thanks very much for the useful info,

Ordered this from Victoria as they are not available in NSW for delivery to a local Parcel Collect. - will try to redirect it to my local post office in Sydney

Was pleasantly surprised to receive $20 off the order as it was over $120 - apparently BWS is running a special at the moment.

Yeah they are, I was hoping for CB too.

Can you parcel direct interstate? I assume more costs than locally paid postage.

Otherwise I'd be ordering interstate from alot of BWS stores 😂😂😂

Please let me know if this works for you. As far as I know BWS use their own drivers so the deliver won't appear in the auspost app. Can you forward a package that had already been delivered to a post office or parcel locker?

I used my method that was confirmed by a member on this thread - the idea came to me when Dan Murphy had $68 price in Sydney and $14 price in Melbourne for Rose Kentish Cabernet Shiraz 2014 in the last year clearance sale.

This time I purchased https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_MYSTERY413/under-wraps-geelong-chardonnay-2015 which is Austins & Co Ellyse that was loading into my cart but would not check out saying no stock. So I ordered it in SA and set up a SA Parcel Collect. Once I got notification, I contacted Au post and ask to redirect. He said there will be a redirect charge of $6 when I collect from my local Post office - please see the attached. The BWS just informed me that my purchase is packed and is waiting to be delivered - I suppose I will find out later today if they managed to deliver to their local Parcel Collect. - otherwise I suppose they will refund me.

Is this easy to set up? Please keep us informed.

It would definitely be worth $6 if the discounts are huge.

10% off sitewide at liquorland, unfortunately doesn’t seem to any increased Cashrewards or shopback to stack with it. Use code “TEN” I usually try and grab a beer or spirits special when these are on
