somewhat similar to the bargain that is Naked & Famous' Unbranded jeans, Borgogno have a No Name Langhe Nebbiolo that is actually declassified Barolo (but of course our taxes end up making it less attractive here than the local/Melbourne-made Linnaea Trifulau Barolo)
the other more well-known and longer-standing Australian-made Italian wines are those of Dave Fletcher, and surprisingly Qantas are cheapest, including:

besides glassware, The Wine Collective (less free VIC lockdown delivery, $10/$20 voucher, 8.8% Cashrewards):
  • La Rioja Alta Viña Arana Gran Reserva 2014 (reviews) $99.99
$88.40 @ Bootleggers - price match @ Waters Wine, Prince Wine Store

wineworthwritingabout:
Deep, dark purple in colour with a ripe and whole-bunchy nose of concentrated berries, cherries, violets, roast beef, white pepper and some salty pretzel!
In the mouth it's very creamy in texture and densely flavoured with dark berries, cherry jam, baked blueberry, white pepper, roast meat, clove, sweet herbals, vanilla and velvety chocolate. It's decadent, but not heavy...kind of like a Cote Du Rhone, except it has a heap of Australian warmth and voluptuousness to it. Although it is delicious, it's missing some tension, acid and structure to match its buxom juiciness and decadent texture, but for $30 i'm not complaining! It's a damn tasty wine

These guys are the sole importer into the uk.
Their reviews have been 98-100 every year for the last few at least.
While their words will make you feel good about your purchase, please do not forget about their conflict of interest in writing them.
Totally agree. It's just a good thorough write-up. Can't find this depth of discussion, including winemakers own notes anywhere else.
Suckling has also given the Standish's at/near 100 point for each for several years now too.

With a TWC cashback thru rewards gateway can get them down to sub $94.
