Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Well there isnt much that I can find on BWS
I did have an Art Series Chardonnay for $105 in the basket but checkout was glitchy on phone and couldnt pay. Had gone by the time I got home to try on the PC-its on clearance elsewhere but higher price
There is Shadrach 2016 for $84 pre-discounts in Parramatta and Pemulwuy which seems OK

Edit: I found another Art Series but same problem. When hit the confirm it errors out saying cant load the giftcard due to connectivity issues. Have not used a GC. Anyone run into this and have a fix?

Anyone opened a bottle of the cellar reserve Sangiovese yet?
cracked one open tonight, 30mins decant…lots of alcohol at first, once past that, pencil, leather, red berry on the nose, medium body, not too exisiting in the palate, very long finish…. Definitely won’t pay $85, but a steal at $20
This wine continue to evolved throughout the night, need to decant and go well with simple food and cheese.

I saw someone on Ozbargain said they made a new account with a new email address, but could use same phone number, CC, address etc. May have to do that if you want to take advantage of the 20% cashback before it expires

Very tempted by this one as well as I also had my fair share of their Shiraz and love it. Remind me of a Côtes du Rhône. No ideas what the weird blend will be like but I guess it is worth a try!
Well, I got mine today and couldn’t wait to open it up. Next to the (fantastic) Canobolas-Smith Cabernet that I already had open, it sure is a weird thing, to quote someone else on the Aylebury Cabernet Verdot, it’s a bit “funky”. I don’t mind a really earthy pinot so the truffle flavour I can live with, but glad I only bought 6 bottles and for $16 there is much better value around.

Just a warning to those using the referral program of the TWC. It seems they counted the minimum spend of $100 is the amount after the $50 voucher. Their promotion is misleading and very disappointed.
Yeah. Total spend $100 to get the $50 off for purchaser. Total spend $150 (net $100) to get referal credit.
is that why nobody has added themselves to the referral thread?

my picks - don't forget 8.8% Cashrewards - web/list prices:

Thanks for your review! Got mine too. Will taste in a few days… and try to return if it is as bad as everyone think.

Sounds like Astralis
Wow I think you hit the nail there!

I think the only McLaren Vale exceptional category too. It matches the "slinky" description below too.

THE WINE
The Astralis Syrah is a wine of striking impact, kaleidoscopic complexity and energy. Dark liquorice, blackberry and mocha aromas, earthy bitumen and herb garden notes, slinky, fine tannins and integrated savoury oak are typical of the style.
