Taps for water, beer champagne, wine, ...Still 100 things to be done but this week we had the gyprock people in, doing touch ups and fix areas that had been banged up and this morning was benchtop delivery!
Our new island bench is 3mtrs long and we went with a 800mm trough sink.

Our island kitchen sink is almost 800mm long (3mtr island). We did originally pick a normal sized sink but when we saw this in a store I said to hubby, "Dont hate me, but I love this" and he agreed. Not that I wash much by hand but its good to have something that can take a blender jug or large pan.
A neighbour of mine has a kitchen and butler's pantry set-up very similar to yours. The Mrs does all her kitchen preparation in the BP, just brings things out to serve or put in the oven. At any time I might pop in, the kitchen looks like a set from Vogue. Not a crumb out of place.
I presume that means the crumbs are where they belong? Not a crumb out of place.

Yesterday on Insta I saw a funny vid about tips for picking the perfect colour floorboards. The male picked a hair from his female Partners head then held the hair against all the different colour panels. There was one where her hair completely disappeared. Bingo. One can only imagine how much hair she was shedding () for the guy to want to hide it.Why I didnt go with a super clean white benchtop, it shows everything
My crumbs should be hidden by the benchtop we chose.

No problem now the internal dunnies are working ...Was very surprised to see our dunny removed today. Excited as its a huge sign that the build is near completion BUT we're not that near completion yet. A quick text to my SS who followed up and the dunny was due for 18th Feb pick up, not 18th Dec. So I'm guessing it'll be returned soon
On the plus side, we're forecasting for end of Feb completion (fingers crossed). Our contract said end of Feb but we always hoped and pushed for end of Dec to keep it close to on track as possible. I wonder how further along we would be if we didnt lose July to scaffolding and boof-head roofers but 8-10 weeks to go isnt too long.
On Saturday we had the gyprock people back to sand walls and Sunday we had a guy that came and removed the covers from the weep holes and touched up a couple of mortar spots.
