So did I. But before my return I got an email saying it was incomplete. It wasn't. I just had to go through it all again.
We got that too, with the completion email after we were home. And it seems thats a common outcome based on this thread.

Well when i submitted mine, there was a warning not to submit more than 48hours out, i followed the instructions and had no issues. YMMV.
No such warning here and no issues.

Is that 48 hours of flight arrival in Australia or departure from origin?

Safer to assume arrival, but given how simple it was going forward I will just do on the day of departure before I head to the airport.

I have to wonder why the DPD even asks Australian citizens/residents for their vaccination details any more, since the Australian government and all the state & territory entry requirements are now exactly the same for vaccinated and unvaccinated Australians returning home.

Vaccination is still required of international visitors, but surely the DPD can distinguish between residents and non-residents?

Just more unnecessary bureaucracy...

Government departments rarely seem to transfer data directly. Whilst it may appear redundant or pointless, fact is it is a requirement for entry, and not an onerous one.

It will be great when they get rid of the duplicate paper entry forms, i for one wont miss squinting to read tiny font when tired in a dimly lit cabin.

Tried to access the DPD on my phone. Saved password did not work and tried to reset password. The reset code did not work and when I tried to set up a new account is said the email was already assigned to an account. Doing all this used up my lives and I have to wait another hour to try again.

This is what happened to me repeatedly. All a waste of time as no asked to see it when landing anyway. It is way too complicated for most travellers.

So, apart from the check in staff who "might" ask to see the QR code saying its (DPD) approved, no one else is asking for it(?).

I think it gets added to an electronic travel profile and it lets you through the gate. Some airlines stop you checking in, and if you are let through you need to fill it in on arrival.

Seems to be a new bug, my phone just updated and I also couldn't log in withy old password, was able to reset password with no issue (and see old applications) but if I logged out I could not log back in with that new password and had to reset again.

This wasn't happening on the previous version, very weird. leaving a bad review in hope they fix this.

Yep, anytime in the 7 days prior. I did mine before I even left the country for a long weekend.

Before you travel or before your return date?
