We have a baby puppy making cattus' life a misery.
Absolutely superb temperament.. puts up with the full on kisses, even stands on hind legs to avoid.. threatens with a paw but only uses claws or teeth as a last resort..
Poor bugger.. a few days ago a big bush cat somehow got in the yard.. swmbo called come quick.
They are facing up as I arrive.. the mog saw me and moved away resulting in a short exchange of views.. followed by moi at speed the mog then went up a 6ft fence and over the cat trap wire on top in one huge bound.. and vanished..
Cattus very quiet for a few days but could find only a minor wound.

Things been quiet on the Maxie front, his fur is regrowing nicely, he has taken to liking this blanket and will knead it for 1/2 an hour before settling down. In this photo he has attached himself to swmbo’s slipper, appropriately patterned. As it’s a heated blanket when it gets too hot he jumps back up to another favourite spot.

We think he would like a playmate, good for him, although I’m sure that it would not be good for us!

Little Ruby gets the best spot in front of the fire, so big fat Otis wants to get in for a cuddle. Ruby, initially hesitant, just goes with it.
