Oh so sad to hear. Hope she remains pain free for as long as possible and you will be there for her for the hard decision to let her go. I am so sorry to hear that - an awful thing,Our Kate has been diagnosed with bone cancer in her jaw, and only 6 months at most left. A huge shock. At the moment, she has no pain is eating well and her vet is on the ball.

Thank you! Yes, it's an extremely hard decision, but we'll be guided by the vet, who is very good.Oh so sad to hear. Hope she remains pain free for as long as possible and you will be there for her for the hard decision to let her go. I am so sorry to hear that - an awful thing,
Our old cat let us know it was time. She had a look in her eyes.Thank you! Yes, it's an extremely hard decision, but we'll be guided by the vet, who is very good.
Our 18 and three quarter year old lilac Burmese magnificent pedigreed Milo, grandparents Double Grand champions just sayin' that there is something in upbringing.... walked away from us on Christmas day as we were driving for lunch and was never seen again. Sometimes cats do not want to pass away in the habitat. Probably irreparable kidney issues that were undiagnosable at the time . Now we have three felines to replace him.Our old cat let us know it was time. She had a look in her eyes.
Have a look at some outside runs that they can come and go inside. Some friends had them and they are great because the cat can go outside and enjoy the weather or come inside as they please.I'd sorta like to get a cat, but I'm in a rural area and it would have to be a 100% indoors cat - not least because the neighbours are very pro wildlife = anti free range cat and traps are deployed as necessary!! And I'm mostly of that attitude too.
But the place is designed for free traffic inside to outside - bifold doors onto the deck etc. A walled courtyard, but that would be easily scalable. Even the upstairs balcony has easy access to the roof. Hmmm - I guess I could net that off ...
So puss would often be banished to a back room for much of the day; it would have a climbing thing and all necessary comforts. That OK?
