We recently sold and bought our house, with a year living in a studio apartment at a friends' house with borrowed furniture (ours was in storage). We've just moved into our new house, and our old girl is SO happy to have her cloud sac back (enormous foam bean bag - Foam Filled Bean Bag Lounges In Australia | Kloudsac for reference). She thinks it's her personal cat bed.

Aaaaand in a classic move, just had to take her to the vet. Noticed she had an ingrown claw. Did you know indoor cats generally needs to have their claws trimmed? I did not! Never been a problem in 15 years. Oh well will keep a closer eye on her now.

Luckily didn't need sedation and it wasn't infected (clearly not bothering her at all! no limp, was still scratching her rug like normal).

I clip ours about every fortnight, very easy just push each nail out from the top/back of the nail to expose it. I do it outside as the cut nails tend to flick everywhere. Clippers are about $3 at target or maybe it was kmart.
They get a brush at the same time which they love.

Have you shown him utube videos for cats (birds, fish, et c)? Ruby ignores them, knows it's not real. Otis is fascinated, transfixed for ages, even checks out behind the tv 😆. But I realise I'm the same, being fascinated by his fascination.

One of previous cats, Soumie (short for Kisumu) loved watching tv, old photos, but you get the idea.Screenshot 2024-08-04 155650.pngScreenshot 2024-08-04 155719.pngScreenshot 2024-08-04 155805.png
