Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

Yes, Master looks a little annoyed with young missy there.
Oh, you feel like a cat lady? Suppose it's better than being a bag lady. :)

Is this packing getting ready for the next jaunt?

Yep - he batted her right after I took the photo. She had been in there first.

(OT - And yes - getting ready for the next jaunt - leaving in 3 weeks time. Not sure if you are following the Qatar thread but we had to do a rapid change of our flights as we were going through Mel - DXB - DOHA - Stockholm the latter two with Qatar airlines - which was halted last Monday. Rang up Qantas whom we'd booked the award ticket through and they knew nothing. Called them back a couple of hours later as I could see two Y award seats direct DXB - Stockholm and I knew once the cough hit the fan they would be gone in a heartbeat and we needed to get to Stockholm.

So the downside - we no longer get to fly on Qatar J and see the fabulous airport lounge in Doha, and we spend one less night in Stockholm (now only two :( ) as our flight didnt arrive in time to catch the only direct flight; plus a 6 hour flight in Emirates Y. The upside - our very long flight in one go of something like 35 hours is now reduced to 14, then a day and night in Dubai then a 6 hour flight to Stockholm arriving lunchtime (it would have been a late night arrival the night before); we received back 50,000 points plus $500 in reduced taxes. And even an economy seat on that flight now costs $2000 for 2. So, if I get into the Fabric market do you want another camel pashmina? :p. At least Ramadan will be over as its going to be that awful hot time in Dubai of 45!)

Don't discount the presence of the suitcase as being the cause of the stress between the cats and the cause of their fighting.

Bring a suitcase out here and I can almost guarantee an inappropriate pee happening - due to the stress.

Gawd. Not one but 2 cats. Got out suitcase to check for packing bags.

Cats are being a little bit ornery today. Both responsible. Had to separate them earlier. Missy seems a bit skittish today that freaks the Master out who then gets a bit jumpy. Three more nights. I've had them on my own this week as MrP escaped to Melbourne. Feel like a cat lady.

I think when you got four, you can consider yourself a Cat Lady.

So cute. Placid cats to sit there for the photo. Somehow whenever Patsy was doing something photogenic she seemed to sense the camera and decide to move so the photo op was lost.

Reminds me, our next door neighbours have acquired a beautiful brown Burmese girl. As they are moving in a couple of months they wanted to get a pet before they left (can't get one after they have moved in but OK if you already have one). She was from a breeder and apparently had had one litter but now no more. She is so sweet and very calm, not in the least concerned when we went in to see her, even though they have only had her a couple of weeks. I love cats.
Sigh.

That was lovely.

I had to resist temptation today. My vet has the cutest little kitten available for adoption and she's now solo as her brother found a home. I was having a play and cuddle and she was so full of personality. But decided that my old man doesn't need his life disrupted.

Did the next 2 week test cycle with kitty yesterday with him staying overnight. We've had a fantastic improvement with his levels dropping about 20 points. He's still above normal but we're not going to change his dose but see if switching him to even more raw food in his diet will help.

Just sitting here at the computer indulging in some wanderlust, I look down and find Flick like this. It's windy and cool outside, so she's found the perfect spot I think.

Kittens are so hard to resist so you did well. Glad to hear Milboo puss is becoming more stable on his medication. Guess it is trial and error.
