Yes, having strangers in the house can unsettle cats.
*hugs*Sigh. The puss has decided the best place to pee is the dog bed and the front door mat
Had to look it up as they were partying for hours. Don't know if it was the semi or qtr finals but so much partying.I'm sure you know by now. Ajax defeated Juventus to reach the Champions League semis.
Big result.
Quite a different kind of manager then. Ours used to scuttle off as soon as she heard a strange noise.Current manager is unusual ( for a cat )
Seeks out strangers, introduces himself and generally wants to be involved in whatever is happening.
Some folks find it really odd and he is certainly poles apart from the previous manager who would vanish if a stranger crossed the threshhold.
I’d be throwing the Dog bed out as it will keep happening due to the smell being there.
I could not leave beds down in the house when I had kitty -or even outside. What may start due to an upset becomes a behaviour...
Couldn’t leave bathmats down either. And then there was a couple of times he peed on the bed when I was asleep

Hopefully Puss will get used to having others in the house. I wonder if she is more prone to stress as she is deaf. It’s been soaked in Sard ohh and machine washed with vinegar. It looks and smells like brand new. But the laundry door will be kept closed now to stop her going in there. She’s not allowed in the bedroom usually so that should be ok. We’re about to have a second house guest so fingers crossed it doesn’t get worse.
She’s quite fearful of strangers, but has been better lately.Hopefully Puss will get used to having others in the house. I wonder if she is more prone to stress as she is deaf.

Munn the Cat had that behaviour too.Current manager is unusual ( for a cat )

We had a cat next door once that was a bit like that. He was very inquisitive and friendly to people but he was also a bit of a bully to other cats and tried to take over our courtyards. Poor Patsy who was a timid thing was harassed by him. I remember one time, when we had let her out the back and left the sliding door open for her, he chased her inside and up a set of stairs to the bedroom as she tried to get away from him. Luckily the neighbours moved.Munn the Cat had that behaviour too.
I used to say to people she's like a dog.
Poor Oscar has spent the night at the vets as a precaution. Daughter found him chewing on a Panadeine Forte blister pack which he had stolen off the sideboard. Hopefully he is fine.
Yes, luckily he doesn’t live with me so I don’t have to pay!Oh the irony, he's caused you a headache you can't treat.
Just so you know I’m here, mum!So this is what happens when I’m looking at the iPad and the cat joins me. iPad camera as a selfie. Of the cat inserted between me and the iPad.
