Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

Current manager is unusual ( for a cat )
Seeks out strangers, introduces himself and generally wants to be involved in whatever is happening.
Some folks find it really odd and he is certainly poles apart from the previous manager who would vanish if a stranger crossed the threshhold.

Quite a different kind of manager then. Ours used to scuttle off as soon as she heard a strange noise.

I’d be throwing the Dog bed out as it will keep happening due to the smell being there.

I could not leave beds down in the house when I had kitty -or even outside. What may start due to an upset becomes a behaviour...

Couldn’t leave bathmats down either. And then there was a couple of times he peed on the bed when I was asleep

I thought it was just my cat that loved doing that to beds! Currently two unused beds upstairs tipped at angles. And today I discovered a sample in an IKEA box. He knows I’m cross. We are baby sitting the son’s cat but this is ridiculous.

It’s been soaked in Sard ohh and machine washed with vinegar. It looks and smells like brand new. But the laundry door will be kept closed now to stop her going in there. She’s not allowed in the bedroom usually so that should be ok. We’re about to have a second house guest so fingers crossed it doesn’t get worse.

Hopefully Puss will get used to having others in the house. I wonder if she is more prone to stress as she is deaf.

Munn the Cat had that behaviour too.
I used to say to people she's like a dog.
We had a cat next door once that was a bit like that. He was very inquisitive and friendly to people but he was also a bit of a bully to other cats and tried to take over our courtyards. Poor Patsy who was a timid thing was harassed by him. I remember one time, when we had let her out the back and left the sliding door open for her, he chased her inside and up a set of stairs to the bedroom as she tried to get away from him. Luckily the neighbours moved.

Daughter picked up Oscar from the vet late this afternoon. He is a bit quiet but otherwise seems fine. He is a very vocal cat and 'chirrups' as he toddles around. When he stops, she said she worries as she wonders what mischief he has got into. He likes to give daughter little presents in bed (his mousie or snake for example). The other morning it was half a sweet potato.:D
