Does anyone here actually collect amenities kits as a hobby?

Matt, giving these to shelters or "Share the Dignity" are great options.

@Maisy33, I am a bit OCD when it come to free stuff and hotel products are high on the list, I sweep them up every day. Most of this product goes to shelters and a female AFFer who I know quite well also comes around to collects these from me to donate to womens shelters. I work for an organisation that has a number of frequent travellers and someone last year had the sense to put collection buckets on every floor to leave amenity kits, hotel products and other donations and I believe it all ends up at a charity @Denali promotes on this site "Every Little Bit Helps". Other stuff I give away would be of little or no interest to shelters e.g. lounge passes, noise cancelling headphones, QF coasters (WP and P1 variety) etc. On AFF there are all types, I just attempt to balance what goes to charity and what goes to the Av geeks or travel enthusiasts who may not get the opportunity to travel in J or F.

Marie Kondo would most likely have kittens if she saw my hoard. ;):D

@leadman nice and you make a good point in regard to reuse, nice looking gadget bags. When you stop the hoard may be we can do some trading. ;)

Been culling all duplicates from my collection, they all go to charity. This is what's left.

I love the space, awaiting for.......

I was just saying yesterday that I love the zip pouches Qantas has. I like the look of the Qatar ones but they take up so much space at home but love the colours and general design. I have no idea what to use them for, maybe breakables? It’s the one thing I haven’t Marie Kondo’ed.

I did not realise how much of a hoarder I was but was reminded this evening . I was informed a couple of weeks back that the current hoard had to go. I thought I was doing what I was told and listed some luggage tags and other free stuff.

I had inadvertently forgot to pack away some amenity kits that are small Samsonite and Rimowa luggage copies, see below.

MrsM raided all creams and gels, MissM claimed the rimowa bags as doll accessories, then MrsM stated the Samonite bag matched her luggage and claimed that one as well. Thank goodness they do not know I have others hidden away. ;)

If you like little bags maybe some will appear in the free listings.

They are cute!

I was going through some of my travel items (cause I need organisation for the next mega give away ) and i realise how much 'stuff' i have.
I found a pair of coasters but only the silver ones so need to ring up and get the Platinium cause I know people here like the coasters aka luggage tags
I have pens from so many hotels
Of course my weakness is amentities kits from various carriers.
Any one else have a quirky one like that?

You're probably far from the only one! I thought I was the only extreme by taking partially used toiletries to hotels so I could collect 'pristine' sets but I've heard of that here too.
I made sure I asked for all sorts of goodies when flying EK F and they gave me the hessian-like bag to put it all in.
I'm actually not a big fan of hotel pens and pads - I have a comparatively very small collection of those :)

EK F new notebooks are rather nice. I like Qatar J pjs. Best fit ever.
