I'm sure it's in this thread, but can't find it any more: I've just cancelled an itinerary (turned in to a voucher) that was booked during this period. Does that mean if I re-book it later I'll still get the double status credit promo? Thanks.

I did this during last year's DSC promotion and it worked (originally booked MEL - PER, then cancelled and booked MEL - LHR using the credit voucher on slightly different dates). I was very surprised when I still got the extra status credits, so it may work for you with this one so long as your new flights are within the travel period.

Well... I guess I potentially stand corrected. I'm surprised also - but very happy for you and potentially anyone else in this situation. The key being the same PNR (since the creation date will be eligible.

I do caution regarding this line in the T&C (which was same as last year so...)

If you change or cancel your initial qualifying booking and/or travel is completed outside the promotional period, this bonus offer will not appl

So I'm happy to be proved wrong on a cancelled booking/credit voucher getting DSC. :D :D :D :D

Perhaps it's in the same category as the people who buy vouchers. The system isn't supposed to work this way, but sometimes it just does? Anyway, I'll report back when I re-book later in the year. Thanks everyone.

I'm holding onto my 2 ($50) vouchers and looking to use one for an upcoming BNE/.../PER/.../BNE trip that I will do in June.

Am really looking forward to some experience (data point) from another member who booked a voucher, has used it and got the DSC.

I haven't heard any positives reports this year so far...

Booked and flew on the 3rd April on a voucher bought during the DSC period and still waiting for it to post. I'll wait till mid May before enquiring further.

That's not looking promising given DSCs seem to have normally posted about 3-5 days post flight.

A shame. It was good whilst it lasted. They will get less bookings from some of us and/or bookings in lower classes as a result I'm sure.

Thanks! I know at least a couple of us will hang off your every post (and anybody else who posts on their voucher DSC experience). I won't be flying using the vouchers until at least June (PER), so can wait

Any negative ones though? I'm also holding on to two $50 vouchers.

All is not lost. Patience Grasshopper ;). This time when I come to PER, hopefully you'll be there as well ;) :D.

yes it seems that they have "enhanced" their system....

That will be true if we can't use them for DSC and 150% SC runs, but they are still beneficial for saving the CC fees and you still get some bonus points when purchased prior to Xmas, so not all is lost

There aren't any examples of flights bought with vouchers having DSCs applied??

Apparently not so far...but still early days. I can't believe there haven't been more posts about them though...

This is exactly how I view this. I'm not going to rant and rave and all the rest if the situation has changed. At the very least CC fee free and that's still quite valuable. Anything else is the cherry(or double that) on top in my view.

Nothing in the T&Cs about voucher flights being excluded, only thing coming close is FF number needs to be quoted at time of booking. My first of 3 itineraries booked under this promo (all with vouchers) is in a week and a half so we shall see. Good job Mrs 340 is a lawyer.

Vouchers should work if the flights are booked in the promotional booking period. But I don't think that is what the discussion is about.....

So I've bought a voucher during the promo dates, then used it to buy a SYD-AKL sector in June. Will see how it posts.

I'm still waiting on double SCs from a flight almost 3 weeks ago, not bought with a voucher either. Looks like QF IT is at it again!

That was a revenue ticket, not a voucher :( Trust me, those are the same flights I would use for my two vouchers if they are "active" for DSC

I should have typed "next" rather than "first" - but I'd forgotten about the PER/SYD/BNE flights - how quickly the gloss fades...
