$995/240 if I go ADL - SYD - AKL one way J with this DSC brings it to $4.145 per QF SC. Come back with comfort seat. Bliss.
Mmm... and yes I got email of offer this time.

You can add flights to a booking if you ring up I think, but I don't think you can add passengers.

So Quick Question, I've got a number of flights to book which I'm now planning on paying for now prior to the 6th, If the dates etc are slightly wrong and they are edited at a later date would this then remove the DSC?

As long as travel is completed by Feb 19, 2018 it should be fine for DSC.

Since Emirates to NZ (on QF flight numbers only) is included this time it may be worth visiting NZ this year (I've never been there before). An extra FLounge visit and a good earn rate.

Booked just now, J Adl - Mel - Akl - Mel in one day yielding 400 SC with this offer, and flight back to Mel the next day gives me WP! Good value for $1900 and I had to get to MEL anyway - just not via Auckland :o And a nice few hours in the lounge to spare.

Re: Double status credits 2/3/17 - 6/3/17

Some nice J deals to LOTFAP SFO and LAX <$5K .... only bummer is a 10 day minimum stay.
I would book if I could get confirmation of a trip for work.

Can you book through 3rd party / OTAs? They seem to be about 10% cheaper than Qantas's website even without the CC fees.

On the gift vouchers, are you sure Qantas hasn't updated their system? I bought some before the Xmas period (Dec 3 2016), redeemed in mid Dec during a 1.5x points promo which ran between 5 Dec - 11 Dec, the bonus points posted as soon as i took the flights even though the gift vouchers were created well outside of the promo period.

Actually, i take this back. Upon closer exaimination, it seems i was credited for the return leg, which was booked in late dec, outside the promo period BUT using the leftover value from the first voucher which was most likely created during the promo period after my initial booking...

Well, I only booked some flights last week... Doh!

But, thinking, if I cancelled the flights as a voucher and re-booked, would it be considered as a 'new' booking and valid for the DSC promo? Its a flex ticket, but processing the refund would take a few days and most likely miss the 6th March deadline.

Any thoughts as if this possible?

I think the creation date would stick but who knows?

Yes, that's what I was thinking too, but happy to be proven wrong.

But, checking the QF site in the last few minutes, for the flights I want the price has risen ~20% since I booked....ouch! May not be worth it.

Booked MEL-SYD-CHC-BNE-MEL in J for 1.6k, for 520SC. not bad at $3.12 per SC!

I would book if I could get confirmation of a trip for work.

Will probably go for BNE-CPT return.... comes up ~$6,100 pp. No idea if thats a good price but we've always wanted to see Cape Town.

Re: 2 x SC for all! (Book by 6th Mar, Travel Mar 17-Feb 19, '18)

You can't add additional passengers to an existing booking. So there will be a new PNR for the second passenger. You can call up QANTAS and ask them to link the bookings to increase your chances of seats together (if you select those) sticking.

What if you split an existing PNR? New PNR gets creation date within the promo period? Therefore qualifies?

What if you split an existing PNR?
I think you might have to call up if that happens to argue your case to get double SC if the original PNR was booked during the qualifying period.

Did you book that over the phone or with a TA, or as a multi-city booking on the web site?
