Double SC Promo [December 2010]

Got the email. My next international trip leaves 1st April, and I can't move it due work. round the world in J too :(

Interesting to know if any recipients had last years double SC promo?

I received this offer, but did not receive the offer last year. Ditto for Mr Katie (QP NB) and Little Miss (NB).

I am wondering if there would be any benefit to me being SG befre our family trip to LHR/CDG next year? At this stage, I qualify for SG on the SIN-SYD-BNE leg.

Double SC Promo

SWMBO has the double offer and I have nothing. When I get home I'll have a look at what may be possible.

Did anyone who got the last double offer get this one as well?Canberra Ave, Queanbeyan West New South Wales 2620, Australia

Well you’d earn 25% more bonus points over the 25% bonus points you earn as a Silver member now, if flying on QF, JQ, BA or AA. Only you can decide if that’s worth it. Your QP will also be put on hold, should you ever drop back down to Silver, thus extending it’s life.

Have received nothing yet (unless my ISP kindly deleted the email as spam:rolleyes:)

Possibly because I have a booked but not paid BNE-MEL-NAN-SYD-MEL-BNE SC run on my profile. Just wondering if that would invalidate me. Thinking of trashing the booking and the $25 holding fee just to be bloody minded, getting a bit sick of 'lets devalue WP' antics.

Doesn't say a lot for the value of platinum if its twice as easy, possibly the WP moniker is now obsolete

Cheers skip

Would you be able to purchase a o/w J fare on the NAN run via the QF Fiji site and still get double status credits? (The fare is over $100 cheaper!)

I have checked the terms and conditions and cannot find anything about it.

Have you looked at a trip to NAN ex BNE via SYD on Tuesdays using QF20, 240 SCs for $640......., quite a good time in SYD for F lounging as well.

i assume you would only get double SCs for the MEL-NAN-SYD sectors as these are the only "international" flights on the itinerary:?:

Unfortunately I will only be able to make it a 3 day weekend (either Fri or Mon) but thanks for the heads up.

So, I'll save paying a nights accom in BNE, fly via MEL and put up with the overnight flight!

Double SC Promo

The 50% promo seems to become a 100% offer once you register. When you register you get offered a survey, which if you complete, allows you to garner the 100% bonus (at least that happened to me, and to some others in this thread)

Oh dear did not pay any attention to Shrek's email . Have just completed survey for him. He has still to book Jan HK rtn and after this
he will be PG courtesy of double SC Wonder if Felicia would like this gift from Santa ? ;p

Woo hoo. Have finally managed to get a promo at a time I can use it.:):):)
2 Trips to be booked next week to LAX - 1 in Jan and 1 in Feb, and will try to squeeze one in at the end of march.

Would be interested to know the people now receiving promo were you offer the promo earlier this year - I was offered promo earlier but so far not this time
