Some of Virgin's flights to New Zealand are operated by Air New Zealand, but sold on the DJ website as a DJ fligt (DJ8804). Do you get any (or double) status points for these flights?

I have a couple of flights to book too

also have one flight I booked 1 week ago for the flight dates... its flexible.. can I cancel and rebook to get this haha (slightly serious)

I also received the email offer. Funnily enough I was already a gold member and just last week requalified gold however the letters seem to be writtten more for recently status matched. Interestingly SWMBO and both kids did not receive any offer. They are all red level members and from what I have read so far it appears to have only been sent to gold or platinums. Also I got the shorter flight window as a gold, contrary to all the golds who have posted before me.

I'm a status match Plat too & got the email about 630pm with matching body & T&C dates so I'm guessing it was a late edit. I've only got one free weekend so I'll be trying to squeeze in an ex-SYD status run. Not to go OT but any suggestions?

My SC requalification balance is already 360 though so I wonder if the offer is to both status matched and also BIS earned plats, however has been directed to those that have earned less than a certain number of SCs since their status change? My partner got the email and is only on 80 SCs since the status match...

Liam - what is your SC balance if you don't mind me asking?

I'm on 1055 SCs at the moment, a few have dropped off over the past few weeks, I've only earn 90 SCs since I hit Platinum. Which was just a few days after you IIRC.

I'm wondering if it's to those people that haven't re-qualified, or are struggling to keep Platinum? I've spoken to one other Road Warrior in the office and she says she received it too, she is a Gold who has earned it the hard way...

I was Platinum or as Liam calls it real Platinum on August 25 and didnt get the offer my balance is currently 420 SC and 1731SC. After next week I will be 540SC and 1851SC. I am going to Email to find out and will keep you posted.
