Qantas is inconsistent. A few of us have had DSC on GV post for the outward leg but not for the return trip on same PNR. I’m not convinced.
One booking posted outbound and not inbound. Next booking didn't post any legs.

Now need to wait and wait.

I’ll find out soon completing return trip tomorrow.

I’m just happy one sector has posted ok....lots of sob stories around and big hassles it seems.

I started on Tuesday and returned yesterday. No DSC for either trip yet.

I haven’t found a run at the right price so far. There is nothing around $7,000 to go Perth to JFK in the dates we looked at. Prices I saw were closer to $10,000 for May.

DSC on delayed booking has posted - for second leg but not the first. How the heck can they manage to do this?
The process must have a manual element to it and not all flights are picked up correctly.

If the process was automated it should be producing a more consistent result.

I'm thinking of using a Feb GV to book something before the end of the year. I would think that either way one of the promotions should apply.
Thoughts?

Yes, it must be something like that. Which makes no sense at all for a Company the size of Qantas.

Have you read the comments re inconsistency?
Yes. Hence why I was thinking now is the time.
If they dont work and I have to call up the agent may say I didn't redeem during promo. I can then say I redeemed during second one.
Wouldn't that give a better chance?

Does anyone have a "clean" PDF or screenshot of the original T&Cs before they changed the clause about the GVs?
Best I can find are from the first few pages with the annotations:

Double Status Credits (book by 5/2/18, fly 12/2/18 to 20/1/19)

Well have to say that under this promo had faster than previous DSC credits.

Flew Sat/Sun. Sat flights posted on Sat and DSC Mon, Sun flights posted on Sun, and DSC today (Tuesday).

Can't complain.

oh yeah, delayed booking :D

Definitely. I flew both a domestic and international leg last Thursday as part of a delayed booking. Base SC for both legs posted within 24 hours, then DSC came through yesterday. Same for my partner too. Hopefully DSC for our return flights post as seamlessly.

Same here but only the DSC for the domestic sector posted and not the international connection which is just what I really need to reach the next tier before some flights in a few weeks...
