Qantas is inconsistent. A few of us have had DSC on GV post for the outward leg but not for the return trip on same PNR. I’m not convinced.

Unfortunately same thing for my last trip. Outbound DSC posted next day but return DSC nowhere to be found.

Called QF told to wait 6-8 weeks....like they will magically appear even though it has already been 4 weeks.

Trust me they will never appear. I’ve now had the opposite. They appeared on my inbound flight but not the outbound flight. Too much happening in my life currently and I don’t have the energy to call.

Outbound flight taken Friday, DSC posted Monday - using magic voucher method.

Tried same method in May, but had to fight hard eight weeks later to get them..

Ditto, here - QF INT flight on Saturday posted before landing... DSCs appeared today.
Delayed GV booking, 'post-the-T&C-change' edition ;)

Slightly off-topic but the 'consistently inconsistent' seems to have an upside, too. In early August I had a +50% SC offer (right before the DSC offer started), registered and booked some travel using that. Now, after the first trip, I can report that the bonuses have been credited automatically 4-5 days after the flights which is a refreshing change from the February DSC bookings. But what's peculiar is that instead of +50% they credited double (+100%). :D
No complaints to be lodged for the misbehaviour of their system... o_O

Interesting since my new membership year in June one return flight has not credited double SCs, another has credited double SCs for the inbound flight but not the outbound flight and just this week the 3rd booking has credited double SCs on outbound flight with inbound flight not until next month.

DSC for flights to and from China all posted within a week of flights. I was a little worried as I'd changed flight down to SYD to have a bit more time in the Flounge. Same PNR, different e-ticket

yes, a bunch of mine posted without incident under this promo with delayed bookings over the past few weeks.

I've just started to play the waiting game. My year reset last night, leaving me 60 SC's short of P1. I've 20 DSC's missing from early September, although rest of trip credited. 40 DSC's missing from last week, although rest of trip credited. 20 SC's missing from Jetstar flight early September
Will be interesting to see how it pans out over the next few weeks.
I had a job I could have brought forward and picked up the missing 60 but couldn't see the point as, technically, I'm over the line. Hoping confidence not misplaced!

ouch. Hope the missing come through soon and you enjoy the white (for what it's worth) ASAP!

Looking better. 40 DSC's credited from last week. Now the P1 count stands at 3580, with 20 owing from Jetstar and 20 DSC's from 3rd September. Will Jetstar come through, even though we washed the BP; or will it be the "six to eight" call?!

To answer my own question; Jetstar came through. The much needed 20 SC's, not much more than a month after I took the flight. Must be a really tricky process involved in awarding SC's from one part of the company to another!
No sign of DSC's from the 3rd of September. I flew three segments on that day. Two segments came through with DSC's within a few days but not the third. Why is it so? I am looking forward to asking that very question at the end of this month. Be interesting to see if P1 status gets me a better quality "haven't a clue" answer! :p

A couple of weeks ago I flew MEL-SYD-LAX and DFW-SYD-MEL, booked with a DSC GV. MEL-SYD and SYD-LAX double SCs came through 3-4 days later (on a Monday), and SYD-MEL came through 7 days after that (the following Monday). Alas no sign of DFW-SYD.

Bonus SC for the third segment on DSC itineraries do not appear to be posting automatically. Both myself and +1 had the same issue on a recent trip - base SC post quickly, and DSC for segments 1, 2 and 4 all post within a few days, but no sign of the elusive segment #3.

I believe this occurs for both standard and delayed bookings. Wait two months and call is the standard advice I believe.

Interesting point. Were all four segments on the same day? I think three segments in one direction is the most I've done in a day and generally one of them fails to post the DSC's.
I have however done four segments as a return trip, in one day, and they all posted DSC's flawlessly. Perhaps the system can only handle two segment flights and third has to be done manually?

Nope. First two segments in one day, all posted fine. Other two segments a week later, first (i.e. third segment of full itinerary) didn't get DSC.

I might be using the word segment incorrectly - leg may be more appropriate?
