Double status credits email - window missed

I viewed this thread before receiving the email! As always I thought there's always next time and then bam! <fist pump>

Well Mrs seat11a is in, and at this stage Mr seat11a is out. Our FF numbers are only 11 apart, so fingers crossed my email is still in the QF outbox and on its way.

We both have the same renewal date of Jan 2014, however I have twice the number of SC's.

Would be good if we both got the offer to speed my our LTG target.

We haven't had a double status credit offer before, so nice to know 1 of us is on the good list.

Unsurprising though....had only updated my email preferences to receive the offers a couple of months ago. Renewal is Jan 2014, so maybe later in the year.

I booked a flexi-saver fare a few days ago. If I cancel it and use the credit to book the same flight now, will I get double SC??

I received this offer too. I currently have a JASA booked MEL-DRW in May, I'm aware it won't qualify but it's very important I take this trip (SWMBO family wedding). Can I call up customer service and re-book or do I need to cancel the flights first?

I had it the year before last and made WP for the first time but didn't get an offer at all last (membership) year. Then I get two in a year? Maybe they see all the VA flights I buy on their credit card?

In my experience, unless you receive the email offer, the links google offers up will be a sad disappointment.

Just got mine, renewal date April 30. Currently in the middle of a DONE4, but only DOM hops planned before the cutoff date. I do wish QF could improve their timing

No you can't because the PNR with the voucher will still have the original booking date, one of those little things.

No lobe here yet, already have my flights up until August booked and tickets issued to requal WP

Got the offer but it won't make any difference for me this time as I requalified WP in the first five weeks of my current year thanks to a DONE5 that was in progress at the time. I already have a heap of bookings, including a couple of JASAs to SCL & JNB that will comfortably put me into Additional Privileges again this year. It'll only get used for a PER-MEL-PER in June that I'll book in Y but upgrade to J. Still, nice to feel the love continuing after a couple of DSC offers I used last year.

Got the e-mail.

Only 1 month into current status year and am 500 SCs into the required 1,200 requal, with 240 SC trip already booked later this month and a TPAC scheduled for May. So should get to WP in May and then I'll focus on *A flights to get my Air Canada Super Elite re qual sewn up as well.

There must be some rhyme or reason to who gets these DSC things, but its beyond me.
