Will be transitting through London to Paris. Is it worthwhile purchasing alcohol at London Heathrow duty free.

The duty free prices at Heathrow did not stike me as being good value for money.

What is your transit point in Asia? Singapore? You are probably better off getting duty free in Singapore although I am not sure of the liquid and gel rules in Europe.

I will be transiting through Singapore then 2hrs transit in London before final destination Paris. Can I buy alcohol in Singapore or will I have trouble then in London because of liquid limits?

If you have to go through security again in transit at Heathrow then the 100mL limit applies. If purchasing expensive duty free it could be worth your while to check bags through to Heathrow only and then re-check bags at Heathrow with duty free purchased in Singapore.

I forget now but how many times does one need to pass through security at Heathrow? If you transit at the same terminal do you need to go through security?

It would appear that SAC105399 is no longer valid at SYD Tax and Duty Free. I will now need to find a new promotion code as I travel in ~4 weeks.

Just came back from NZ landing at SYD and DFS was handing out $5 out vouchers just before you got to duty free.

I declined having already got my fill from DutyFreeStoresNZ (20% off online discount)
