Earn SC on Reward Travel (now until July) & Bonus SC Revenue until June 2022

HI all, it's been quite a while since I posted anything in this forum, and even longer since I booked a flight I think! So apologies if this is a dumb question, but just wanting to clarify:

Looking to take advantage of the bonus SC offer by going to visit Dad in NSW in June, so HBA-MEL-CBR return. Have just come across the new layout on the VA website when booking flights, and note it now shows the SC earn when selecting fares - I'm looking at J as they have a decent sale fare at the moment, and it shows 110 SC, which I assume is the normal SC earn (55 for each flight), and not taking into account the bonus. The table on the bonus offer page states 80SC for Zone 1, so I should actually receive 160 for those two sectors, and 320 for the trip in all? Is that correct?

Yes, HBA-MEL-CBR return would net you 160SC’s each way

Excellent, thank you. As mentioned, it's the first time back to flying for a while, and so many changes, offers etc since then, I just wanted to check that what I was assuming was correct!

Well done - these double SC, and dirt cheap Biz fares, being valid together, is a very rare concurrence! :D

J fares aren't quite double SC, but close. Y fares are double.

Flying MEL-DRW in June in J, booked back during DSC promo (August), my calculations as this bonus SC extended to June 30th, I should gain the original 105SC & the current 150SC, so 255SC, family pooling for 3 of us gives juicy Lucy total.

Bonus status credit on reward seats Is back for June and July. Doesn't look like double status credits has been extended though (yet..?)

I hope that includes the 30% off rewards bookings; off to Brisbane for the long weekend using the 30% off and need 340 SC to maintain Gold, so an extra 30 SC will help!

Edit: 110 SC; forgot I booked Business ha. Also if I booked Business for another guest on the same itinerary as mine, but linked their VFF, who gets the SC? Me or them?

Pretty happy. Return in J through the 30% discount promo gives me an unexpected 60SC for my 49,600 points.

are they family pooled to you?? set the family pooling up on the VA website?
You'd have to do this prior to flight to take their SC's & points if option ticked.
Nothing to do with the booking itself.
Family Pooling also must be immediate family, same address.

Nope. Booked Business Rewards for a friend for their birthday (going to Brisbane with them and they've never flown Virgin Business before). Does that mean they get 110 SC?

No because business reward are credited at the economy choice rate (and economy at economy lite rate).

Doh. I know you're right about this because I took advantage of the same promotion in November and flew three Business Rewards legs, and got 45 SC.

Thanks for bringing back me to reality! :)
