The bonus SC almost had me taking a needless trip to hit gold before I fly to Korea with Singapore Airlines. Luckily I checked because I'd assumed it was double points as that is what I'd got on flex fares, however BNE to SYD in business only pulls 80 SC not the 110 I'd hoped for. Also I found out the Krisflyer lounge is closed at my departure time in Brisbane so I would have had to use the Plaza lounge with my credit card anyway.

Is there an easier way to see reward flight availability than the Virgin way of showing flight options that is extremely frustrating and not user friendly? I am looking at a weekend from ADL-BNE from 17-20 June. Qantas you select your dates and can see what is available, cost (points/dollars) and just scroll down. Virgin you see this is the cheapest on this day and "reward seat available" and then you have to click on every single time, to find that only have economy reward when I just want to see business. I have only been flying Virgin regularly the last few months and figured I could make use of earning SC on reward flights while I take a holiday and bump myself closer to platinum.

The availability might not match 100% (I haven't thoroughly tested it yet), but try searching on the United website.

No because business reward are credited at the economy choice rate (and economy at economy lite rate).

ah yes, the first time I found out Economy Lite still accrues SC's...but not eligible sectors...

Just flew MEL-DRW J.
Booked in August 2021 DSC promo
Received standard 105SC
+ Current bonus SC for that distance sector of 150 SC.
Total 255 SC's for the ~$600 fare. Top value. + Family pooling yeah yeah.

SCs post within hours, no waiting days or weeks for DSC part to credit like another un-match-fit mob.

Pity my return trip just missed the June 30th qualifying window.
Be happy with what you get & don't complain!

Does anyone know if DSC are earnt on Future Flight bookings?
We flew at the end of May, but no bonus credits have been received yet

ADL, first time I've been here in the evening. Otherwise still those wrapped prepared sandwiches, wraps, ceasar salad, quinoa thingy.
Ah yes, but that cloudy local craft beer is the tops (can't remember it's name).

My base+bonus status credits have been posting under a single transaction...
Ah good point, I didn't expect the bonus to be in the same transaction. Looks like I've been getting them also. Thanks for that

After the cancellation of my original flight to maintain Gold, finally flew on 30 June just in time for the bonus status credits... Thanks Velocity!
