The good news is the points are crediting with the purchase:

I loaded up my sons EDR card with a range of Select items - 22 in all. Some of the cheaper Select items (dog food x 10, rippled chips x 4), and some basic items we needed (toilet tissue, lunch meat for next week) and dinner for tonight (tortillas, diced tomatoes, refried beans, taco sauce) plus some non-Select items. All up $66 so 550 bonus points, 34 basic and 34 double points.

I also loaded up my daughters EDR card with 10 Select items, so 250 points coming her way. She won't feel left out now ;)

Not in the same league as markis10 :o

Couldn't do much more at this point

Do you actually own a cat? :p

...

Yes we do have a cat, only way I got approval for the purchase. I'll probably go and clean out another Woolies tomorrow as the cat seems to like the food. Plus the in laws have a cat as well so they might score a few packs as well, especially with the discount.

Maybe, he says after cleaning out the Tea tree plaza woolworths. *evil lol*

The check-out girl and the lady behind me in the queue thought I was strange to buy different dog food in separate transactions.

Think I'll be back on Monday for some top ups

Sensational!

I am off to attempt similar tomorrow

The tortilla dinner was a hit, quite a nice mild taco sauce (and so cheap). Mrs LW very impressed that I saved $ not getting El Paso.

Should allow me to buy more on Monday.

There is an RSPCA shelter near me......I am feeling very charitable and will be donating some cat food this week

Tested out the cat food tonight on the 2 elderly feline members of the household, one blind the other senile. Both gave it the paws up so will buy up big tomorrow, two months worth should get me about 6,000 bonus points assuming there is enough stock in the local stores. Might even buy up more as I have a double points offer expiring tomorrow and its cheaper than their usual brand! Expiry dates are in 2013 but given the cats' ages (18 years) I don't want to have to much stock on hand!

Anyone tasted the 99c sauces?

Spent $225 today on various things including 71[SUP]???[/SUP]select items & 2 cartons beer.

This week I had a 2 x points offer as well as a 250 BP 2 cases beer offer.

"Held docket" at grocery register and rocked over to liquor department where I purchased two cases of beer and completed transaction.

Looking to post 195 standard points, 195 double bonus points, 250 'beer' points & 2050select bonus for a EDR total of 2680. Also used a 1½ point per $ earning credit card for an additional 337 points making a total of 3017 QFF points.

BTW, bought stuff we use - yes, we have a cat - and the mexican diet is looking good (99¢ cans of refried beans and the sauces among the purchases).

I wonder what will be the uplift of Select product sales for this promo week. Their Sales Manager must be chortling if he was reading this thread

His sales figures will look good this week, but it might take 6 months or so for the select range to pick up.

The 99c sauces are good, they had some rubbish ones but they seem to have gone.

Does that mean some of them failed the taste test and were jettisoned? Still well worth 25 EDR points each.

The worst part is standing there scanning 2 items, scanning card, paying for them, and repeating the process (*10++) while people give you weird looks. ;)
