we buy heaps of fresh f&v each week, is that why we don't get any offers on f&v?

From my experience - YES

The targeted offers are for groups of items I have purchased previously, but haven't in about 3-4 weeks.

Suggest signing up your "kids" for a card and cycle the usage of the cards

You might be correct - we never buy F&V at Woolies because the quality can't compete with the local F&V greengrocer, same with meat v butcher.

The only offers we get are invariably - F&V and meat offers:(

My 100 points is for $30 on fruit & veg

I also got this one this morning. That is about 24hrs after the last offer but both have a Wednesday expiry. Not sure why they were sent on different days, but it does mean offers have arrived in my inbox on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.

A few weeks ago I chose to not activate some offers if I was sure I wouldn't use them. Perhaps this is the response - flood marketing.

Why, because iCan.

I didn't activate mine. I rarely shop at Woolies as I have to drive past a BI-LO and a Coles to get there.

However there is a BWS next to the BI-LO which is where most of my bonus points come from

you just prompted me into checking my wife's offers and low and behold a f&v offer 100 points for $30 spend :D
I've been using my EDR credit card which as you know has the EDR card on the back.
So as you have suggested if we cycle the card usee then bingo :)

Interesting that some of you got $30 or $20 for 100 points on f&v. The one I got, I only have to spend $10!

Mr Natalie's offer was 200 bonus points for a $70 spend on fresh foods. Not at all worth it IMO.

Agree - 200 points for pretty average/poor fresh offering - better to spend your money with a decent fresh trader!

Taco mix & cat food are completely different.

They offered me similar a couple weeks ago for $150 spend!!

Didn’t shop for a couple weeks and today have my first ever mid-week offer of 100 bonus points for a $20 spend… seems they may have realised their error ;)

Would love to know how they decide on spend limits... I assume some of you have bigger shops compared with me, hence the higher tiered offers, but even for me, minimum spend of $100 is pushing it most weeks. Only if we hit that amount do I activate the offer via the iphone app. Even $20 for fruit and veg would be a bit of a stretch as we get a lot from the markets instead. Perhaps they try a few to see when you'll bite and when you wont....

My fresh fruit and veg spends vary from week to week. Sometimes it varys from $5 to $15. I haven't had a fresh fruit and veg offer for a while and the last one was fairly high as I had been buying large amounts of goods my children liked which weren't actually in season. I'd probably only use a $10 offer or maybe a $20 one if I got one next week.

After no offer on Monday, I was also invited to spend $30 on fruit and veg for 100 points. I've activated the offer but probably won't take it up. Although my significant other is something of a fruit bat, 60km for 100 points is not worthwhile this week. Hopefully I won't be struck off the offers list forever. I really enjoy reading this thread and am in awe of you all.

I just got the Fresh fruit & veges offer with no specific spend for 100 points.

I might add that I got no offers on Monday

Same here. I also got the tiered Big W toy spend offer that's also been posted as a Weds offer.

And a mid-week offer to go with the earlier Big W offer

Dad - fruit and vegetable offer 100 bonus points for spend >$10

Grateful for any offers to keep points ticking over....

Interesting that people are being targetted for the 100 points for fruit and veg with different spend amounts. Mine was for a $30 spend.

Used to get weekly offers of points for buying grog. Haven't bought grog from woollies for months, and haven't had a single points offer since the last time I brought grog. Got a bottle of brandy from woollies last Saturday, but couldn't have been bothered flashing the EDR for 4 points.

But if you didn't scan your card, how will big brother EDR know what you are buying? ;)
