I have just been offered 10c off for $50 spend. As I have a stack of Coles 8c offers I will not be activating this offer

I got 15% off selected WW Gold Christmas cakes and puddings! I didn't accept a similar offer recently and don't plan to accept this one.

I swiped one of my cards this week a few times on some small spend purchases to see if they got me some WW love..

Yes... But......

15% off car insurance...............

I have hardly spent a cent at Woolies over the past month

Again, as much as we (on here) don't like the offers, the masses love their petrol discounts and special offers at the end of their receipts

i'm sure we've had this discussion, but if we want to send a message to woolies, is it better to activate an offer and not take 'advantage' of it , or just ignore it like Major has done?

And I am going to enjoy spending the $20 gift card sent to us by Woolworths for being loyal last month. Card looks nice....

My partner got an offer for a general spend at Woolworths. $50 for 6 cent fuel voucher, $80 for 8 cents and $120 for 18 cents. Can be redeemed once only but you can use multiple transactions.

We've never spent more than $70 a week on this account and that was only once. The normal spend (when we use this card) is between $30 and $50. Why on earth would they target the card at $120? The 18 cent voucher sounds nice and if it was on my account I would consider it, but I'm not taking it up this week. I have a couple of 12 cent vouchers for use in December plus some 8 cent ones if I need to fill up more than twice.

Better head to Woolies for 15% off the pudding!

Doubt I'll get one this week, been a month or so since the last one.

I have not been activating offers and only occassionally spending at Woolie, generally under $ 30. I have not received an offers for a while.....................they are obviously being run by Wood-ducks and have alienated a number of people going by this thread

And I will enjoyed all the savings by not shopping at Woolworths!
That may be true for you but I cannot agree with that generally.

There is a reason my parents shop at Woolworths.

Hint: It is not for the QFF points....

Agreed, we are a small cross section of EDR users, I doubt that the views shared across here would be mirrored by the majority of EDR users.

Indeed, because if it was such an issue in terms of lost revenue, Woolies would have resumed the bonus point offers and the like by now!

My last bonus points offer for a $xx shop in xx_xx_ department was back in September

It's now been 3 months..

I would love Woolies to have a Save $5 or earn 250 (or more) QFF points when you spend $50 on whatever items.

Give people the option, but, again, most people just want a discount and not QFF points

I too agree most of us on AFF are extreme or outlier shoppers who will stock up on the right deal however by not offering a wider selection of offers EDR is not doing its stores like WW/BIG W/BWS a favour as most of us would overlook a dollar or two price difference if it meant we earned 100 or 200 bonus points. Now most of us guy and gals are now are looking at other stores like coles, liquorland, 1sr choice, independents for the best savings and if possible flybuy points and bonus points.

Until the marketing professionals realise that they are missing out on a lucrative subsection of the population most of us will be shopping elsewhere.

I just wonder what result some of these trolley runs had on the possibility of earning QFF points with EDR

I think it is more of a change in marketing strategy. I saw it initially with flybuys, they had many bonus point offers but slowed down. EDR then came into the market, who came out with quite a few offers. Then flybuys launched a revamp of flybuys, EDR sort of matched flybuys with a mishmash of promotions and seemed to blown the budget on marketing. I personally think after the disastrous stickers promotion, EDR thought that by offering a bucketload of fuel offers will be a great way to match flybuys. Problem is, EDR strategy is fairly one dimensional whereas flybuys is much broader and seems to be gaining fast on WW.

As previously pointed out its more a case of propping up a poor performer from the portfolio with incentives to life business, the service station business!
