Ok I"ll bite. Family of 6, shop weekly buy everything except rare/weird stuff and milk. EDR card 420, Amex 675 FF points on a good week (with the rate we go through things most weeks are good weeks). Have thought about visiting Aldi but every time I get a points upgrade to F I realize the folly of that thought ;)

Damn, puts our shopping to shame :o and I am amazed at your ability to juggle Shrek, kids and your combined work :o

I'm definitely on the EDR blacklist  Think they've sussed my Woolies CC swipe followed by Amex eftpos scam :D
In all honesty I already score 1000 points per week just at Woolies so anything else is a bonus ;)

Or EDR swipe with the EDRCC?
If my shop is under $30 l use the AMEX, above that and it's the ERDCC. I have to admit that for a point a dollar the EDRCC (Mastercard) is a decent card.

I have been following 'coves' blog, very interesting for those who don't follow it. Cove goes into great depth in regards to CC earn, highly recommend blog.

I got the usual offer (again) this week.
Got the vitamins offer last week and didn't even bother to activate it.

So nothing special just spending $400 a week then ?

Got one this week - heathcare products.

$20-24.99 = 150pts
$25-29.99 = 200pts
$30+ = 250pts

Finally! For Woolworths! Yes I miss you too.......

Here is hoping that both myself & Mrs Shintaro get targeted bonus offers other than at Woolworths Liquor or BWS...

Love the offers but the bar is busting at the seams already from the offers of late...!

Me Nothing... Mrs Shintaro, yet another booze offer :-|

Spend $30 or more for 300 QFF bonus points at BWS

I guess since christmas is coming up, pretty easy to use this offer. The renovations to the liquor holding capacity of the bar can be put on hold, but not for too long

In my case.

For Mrs nothing. For me my standard booze offer.

Think someone from EDR must be lurking. First offers in months in the inbox, spend $10 at Big W on makeup get 200 bonus points, spend $20 on canned fish get 300 bonus points. :)

Just wait until those mini-mouths turn into endlessly ravernous teenagers! We had 4 living under our roof for a while. There is not enough fridge space or pantry space to stock 1 week's worth of groceries in one house for such feeding requirements

Sounds like a perfect case for the development of a JIT strategy ... :p

Well it did help that one of the teenagers (the boarder) was the son of the local butcher, so oft a call went out to him to bring something home we could cook up quickly. His dad paid half his board in produce each week . But he has now moved away from Brisbane, so its back to either planning a few days worth of meals at a time, cooking army-size quantities (Spaghetti Bolognaise can be made in huge volumes to last a few days), or regular visits to the supermarket.

Hmm, finally my first offer in a couple of months after i sent an email to them recently asking if they wanted me to go to Coles instead... Unfortuntely not really any close convenient Caltex servo's to me in my new place that don't charge credit card fees, so guess it might be the points i go for, except i also only just shopped yesterday!!!

Slightly OT however I didn't think Woolworths Petrol outlets charged a CC fee...?

Yeah I had gathered that the Caltex ones that have on the sign out the front that say cc surcharges apply don't seem to be offering the discounts so must not be corporate servo's...

So in my drive arounds anyway i can't find the corporate Caltex's too close to my new place (might see if there is a website for them) and to drive any distance to actually find one means i would probably burn up the 4c discount anyway, so probably have to shift to shopping at coles at least once a week for $30 worth... Ane being single means there isn't a huge grocery bill requiring too many shops a week...

Pity where i lived before there was a Caltex and Woolies just round the corner almost and the price at the Caltex was some of the cheaper ones in Perth...
