I had a 200 point offer for $20+ meat purchased...easily made with a pack of mince and a pack of chicken breast for a total of $20.92. What's more is I now have an extra dozen or so meals in the freezer for work lunches :-)

Is a pack of mince and chicken really over $20? I thought oz was bad price wise, thanks for confirming..

It depends on the grade of meat. One pack of beef mince can be as cheap as $3 for 500gm for low grade mince. Premium 5 star beef mince would be a lot more expensive. I don't know anything about chicken mince but I am guessing it is more expensive than beef.

I like the meat targeted offers as well. I buy up in bulk, freeze it and then don't buy fresh meat for a month or so, depending on the target spend.

Me too. I find it easy to reach the minimum spend, and when there is lots of meat in the freezer the lunch I take to work is much more interesting!!!

Coles/Woolies 500gm beef mince, premium/5 star/heart smart runs at $6.5-7.

Mt Barker Free Range chicken, breasts, more than $12/kg (~16 normally IIRC). The breasts are huge though, but means a 2 pack and a pack of mince could easily set you back $20. Cheaper to drink champagne as we import that and the dollar is high...

And no EDR love for a few weeks on either account :(

My offer this week was for a $200 spend.
Wasn't able to make the spend.
Hopefully next time it will be for a smaller spend

Can any of our European posters attest that their cheap meat is sweet yet a little gamey?

Actually they are getting a little hoarse calling for meat they want to eat when they meet rather than what they saw at the picnic meeting.

I think their real beef is that good meat is dear to their heart.

Yep, I buy the HeartSmart mince which was $7.xx, and then there were 3 breasts in the chicken pack for $12.xx

Well this morning I received an email to activate an offer for a free Tasmanian Capria Brie cheese.
I have purchased several cheeses over the last few weeks, so they know I like a gourmet cheese or two.
I have activated the offer.

I too received the free round of cheese offer. I won't say no!

i occasionally buy nice cheeses but that hasn't happened for over a month so maybe that triggered it for me? My parents (who never buy gourmet cheese) didn't get the offer.

Free cheese offer here also. Bought some cheese a day before the offer came and have gone through that so will most certainly take up this freebie.
Have actually had quite a few offers lately. They seem to have started after I began sending feedback a few weeks ago.

Hi Shintaro Junior #1,
Cheers to convenience and bonus points.
300 bonus points
when you spend $30 or more in one shop (@ BWS)

Been a while since we received a decent BWS offer, while this is not as good as the offers a year ago, ($30 for 500QFF) 300 points for a $30 qualify is pretty easy... <10 cents per point* for a usual spend on liquor is a yes for activation in our household :p

* $28.50 when using a discounted wi$h card, hence 9.5c per point

My partner just got a bonus offer of 100 points for $10 spend on fresh meat. This should be easy to achieve. I wasn't planning on using my card this week after last weeks big spend. The offer starts tomorrow and ends on next Monday(8 April). One use only.
