Got a response from Everyday Rewards re: 30c fuel voucher and only applying 8c (4QFF points) fuel voucher.

They have asked me to check receipt to determine whether service station was offline or card is not working properly. What receipt? They also mentioned that if I am not able to use the 30c fuel voucher before 05/04/2013 to call them and they will increase validity by another 28 days but I must have the receipt. What receipt?

Always pays to get a receipt for everything, from shopping to even filling the car up.

Servo doesn't either give you one, or doesnt even ask "would you like a receipt?", Ask them for a receipt, they may be confused, customers behind may wait longer, but that's not your problem!

If the receipts were always automatic, things would hapoen faster....

Woo hoo, it's been weeks but I finally got an offer - $200 for 30c off (or 15x fill in my language). Should be easy to achieve :D

Mrs LW was too late last night to get the Online delivery for today, so I'll be going shopping Saturday (unless she found the time today - I did give her my card in case).

Dropped by Big W on the way to work and $17 later of childrens clothes, I have bagged another 100 points.

By the way I do not disagree with you and I think that is a good idea most of the time.

But on the flip side way too many companies are using that as an excuse to get out of their obligations. Why should I have to keep the receipt because the computer systems are incompetent to handle the promotions they are offering?

I've always been annoyed with Everyday Rewards that the burden of proof seems to be on us when it's actually their system error which has caused the problem.

By the way, I managed once to get Everyday Rewards to credit me with some bonus points owed, even though I didn't have a receipt. I had to go all the way to supervisor level to get them. The supervisor had access to my account transactions and could bring up transaction details, item by item. The only thing I need to give her was the transaction date and she was able to find the specific product that was supposed to trigger the bonus points. It took a lot of effort to get this far however so I can't guarantee this will work for every situation.

Never quite understood this one but part of the problem is the rewards side is a totally new standalone system that has been interfaced with the legacy system but with many holes in it. Oh well....

Got home to see our cupboards replete with groceries, happy to see receipt for $215 on the counter...until I saw she'd shopped at IGA :(

There goes 750 FFP's :o

MrsW and Mrscove must be related. We have a really good IGA store run by an Indian family who are really good traders. Their store is nicer than Coles or Woolworths and they have spent a small fortune on their store fit out and layout. We want them to stay in business as if they go we end up with so much less choice.
Woolies and Coles can stick their private label stuff as we can buy the best labelled quality and keep them in business too.
If I go with Mrscove to Coles or Woolworths we have a stash of 5% off gift cards that I get for our extended family as paying full tote is for the birds. Sure I blip the EDR points card then pay Woolworths with a 5% off gift card thinking why pay retail.

This may have been raised before, however my local WW and BWS are in the same building so yesterday I put some groceries through with the beer and Pimms in BWS. It will be interesting to see if I get double points for the lot or just the alcohol.

Good luck! Fingers crossed for you.

MrsDeKa has plenty of offers and I have one for this week

MrsDeKa:
Double points at BWS (our local BWS guy was excited when I walked in... "Haven't seen you in ages")
200 bonus points for $20 meat
30cpl for $200 at WW

DeKa:
20cpl for $120 or
25cpl for $160

Given the multiple offers for MrsDeKa we'll aim for her one.

I received a fuel offer on my account.
$120 - $159 20c per litre
$160 or more 25c per litre
Normally I would ignore an offer with a target of over $100 but this week I think I'll take a chance. I'm hosting the Easter celebrations for my family so I might end up spending $120 across the whole week anyway. I just hope that I keep getting reasonable offers on my partner's account targeted around the $50 mark like the Cash for Easter card.

I just finished the Easter party shopping. I ended up spending $160 for the week across two transactions. I doubt I'll be getting a good general target spend offer that I can use for a long time. At least I'll get the 25 cent voucher. We ended up with a few last minute things(extra easter presents) I wasn't originally planning to buy so that's why we ended up with the full total.

Have other people had experiences with Everyday Rewards where they have made one off large purchases and then had to put up with really high target offers afterwards? How long did the high offers go on for before they got reduced to an average level?

We haven't had any offers for a few weeks except for the $15 kids clothing spend that came with the quarterly statements.

Both Mr Natalie and I took these offers up, hopefully we will be rewarded! It's been such a EDR drought, that I don't even have any fuel vouchers to use! I had to get petrol without the option of points! Oh the horror!!!

Dad's card is a classic example where Everyday Rewards has sent out what high target offers and I have activated but ignored the offer. A few weeks later an offer is sent with a lower target.

I guess it helps that we have 4 accounts in the family and we can pick and choose which card to use as eventually all the points are going to end up in my account as mum, dad and my brother have no interest in flying but are helping me out where they can.

And Mrs N, who is big into keeping the independents going.

100 bonus points for $10 spend in the meat department this week.

I had a larger spend which resulted in a high target offer. Just happend to spend that much and get the fuel voucher. Next offer had an even higher spend, ended up being about $60 short. Also sent in feedback. Haven't had an offer since, so probably a couple of weeks.
