EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Yes, it's not targeted, went from no fuel discounts to 5 in a few minutes, thanks to the need to get some Myer Gift cards.
My new MacBook Air costs 5% less thanks to the Wish discount, earned 850 QFF points, and Myer One points as well.

Markis, they told me I could not buy any $100 gift cards and get the fuel voucher. If this is what you have done, did I or they misunderstand? Cheers

I bought quite a few Myer cards, and got the discount each time, its only WOW cards that dont count.

I finally got a Deli offer on my account. 150 bonus points for $10 spend. I'll be completing the current family member deli offer on Monday so will take up my offer on Wednesday when I do a big weekly shopping trip. Maybe I'll even go for the $100, 17 cent general offer at the same time.

Today's points haul - 150 points for $5 spend at the bakery, plus c17 off fuel offer plus Amex bonus points!

This weeks offer
$10 frozen food 150 pts
$20 frozen food 300 pts

I have to say I really did prefer when offers were sent out once a week on a Sunday. It made planning a shopping trip so much easier.

I agree Pollywaffle, now we have to keep checking and hoping for an offer all week.
They have us on a string!

I liked the sunday/monday regular offer stream better. It meant that you could sometimes use the offer across two catalogue periods. It was also good looking forward at a specific time each week to get offers and see what offers others got.

I find now that most offers come in on a Tuesday night or first thing on a Friday morning. We still get the odd offer which crops up randomly like the deli offers that went out today and a few random others. I can't figure it out but I'm just grateful that we're still getting offers for our family members.

I did an average shop today with my son - had a trolley full by the time I got to the check-out. They were full and the self check-out was empty. Had a brain snap and had loaded $170 before realising (put it down to teaching my 3 yo about bar codes and scanning - we were having fun). Stopped and paid for it, before starting again. Had another $129 so have ended up getting 2 x 17c discounts (which are showing already - along with a 15c one that my wife must have loaded on Friday).

So in hindsight, whilst I missed a 3rd 17c offer if zi had pushed the envelope - I'll still score well :D

The only EDR offer I've had for a few weeks and its for Cellermasters. Hmmm, helpful during Dry July.

buy three different kinds of winter vegetables for entry into a draw for five $10K holidays and/or 500 wish cards...

I should look more closely when filling the cart. I got $1 off some bakery for using the EDR card. Don't remember seeing that on the shelf at the time. Note in the USA - all the $$ discounts are tied to you using the grocery card and all the big chains have them.

Happy wandering (through the Woolies aisles)

Fred

I found when shopping in the US that since I didn't have a card the cashier was quite happy to scan a card so I got the discounts.

$5 bakery spend for 150 points - at 30 points per $ not bad at all. First *targeted* offer I've had other than one fuel one for a long time.

I got this one also, should be easy enough to do...
