I got the same offer. I just spent $80 this afternoon, dam!
But I am worried not to use it, as it is the first offer since Christmas.

I spent $50 this arvo, never mind... Sent feedback that spend required was too high.

I think they do know that and are trying to modify your behaviour.

They actually give up if you ignore those offers and then go back to sending out the 200 bonus points for $50 spend.

Or should i say dont ignore the offer. Activate it and then go and spend some token amount so they think you tried and didn't run off to Coles or IGA for a week.

Same - I always seem to get decent offers whilst o\s. Best plan of attack is to leave a SO with your card before you depart so when/if these offers come up you can still take advantage.

Not yet. I think bonus points are usually credited ~7 days from the end of the offer not when you did the shop.

Well did the shop an nearly freaked out when the bill reduced when the operator scanned my card. The total reduced down because of special offers, but the total shop creeped in $121.03.
Phew my 500 points were safe!
