EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Can you scan the back of your EDR credit card when paying with a Woolies gift card?
If so we could score the 5% off on buying those cards as well as picking up the single, double, triple and quintuple offers of points with a bigger smiling face.
It's a war out there!

I believe you can. Don't you remember the great Dick Smiths 5 Bonus points battle last year when numerous Amex card holders smashed Dick Smith by buying WishGift voucher and then went on to spend them at Woolworths and Woolworths Petrol ?

5 % off gift cards ??????????????? Do you get points when you spend them on your groceries ??? If so would not that make your shopping 5 % cheaper ???

The idea is to buy gift cards at 95% of the face value on your Amex card to score the first up points and then when using your gift cards you get the EDR card blipped thru the system.
Is there a way to get that discount on gift cards on less than $8,000 of face value?
We did some at work so I got about 27,000 points on an Amex point and a half card for Christmas presents and that is what started me thinking.....
Currently that 5% discount on your cost of living would be nice if you shop with the Woolworths group.

Got the double points offer on one of the accounts late on Friday and I was in the air anyway.

Does everyone leave shopping for the weekend? If you want people to take up the offers then send them earlier. It cannot hurt and can only be better for business....

Do they read AFF?

Thinking that means I can make 2 separate transactions, and I am getting low on that front, but I’m also happy (while I’ve been complaining) as I’m poor… :p

Another 500 points for $150 by 2 for me ;)

Hopefully this weeks catalogue specials are "genuine" value. Looking at most of this weeks catalogue boni they were "sucker sales"...virtually all you could save more money by buying different sizes or similar brands. I reckon quitea few were very highly proced to just see how much people would be influenced by FF points.

ie Quilton Toilet Paper...buy the 8 pakj with points for 35 cents each...or the 16 pack for 26 cents each.

Colagate Toothpaste...but the boni points ones for a lot more than other non-boni Colgate Toothpastes.

Oh no. I got another BWS offer - 250 points for buying 4 bottles of 750ml wine. The *only* type of wine I have less than 2 cases of is sparkling, so I guess I'll buy 6 bottles of sparkling.

This weeks targeted offer for me is double points until Sunday at Big W.
Time to stock up on back to school stationary ;)

No offers since mid December and this is what I got today.

Not so good compared to other offers out today. sigh!

I can finally join the offers club! Fortunately they recognise that we usually only spend around $100.

Good score. We bought all our kids BTS stationery last week from big W... without the double points though.

I could never remember the difference between stationary / stationery but have been corrected so many times by my wife (who is an English teacher)... think of stationery as in pen:).

Well I am in their sights again this week with another three offers, this time the buy 4 wine, spend $150 at Woolies and double at Big W, of which only the wine is likely to get a bite!

Shock Horror, its kleenex with the bonus points this week, and Colgate again!
