why waste money on Vitamin supplements?? just makes for expensive wee

Anything you consume that passes through your bowel undigested is not absorbed into your blood system and is therefore wasted. Generally speaking anything that passes through your kidneys has been processed and metabolised/utilised by the body is is therefore not wasted.

This is not the place for anatomy/physiology class but you can read more through anatomy/physiology textbooks (and I am not referring to "Dr Google" either).

End of off topic post.

Why would you buy in separate transactions and have 2x$30 exclusions, rather than buying both at once.

That's a loss of 30 FF points through EDR - there wouldn't be any loss through use of CC as it would be the same $ spent

Yes, does seem silly when you look at it that way, I was just curious because of the wording. Unless I find a good deal on beer I like, I wont be using it anyway.

Toilet paper is always a good one.

I would disagree.

In the coming week's catalogue it is @ 26 cents /100. So when that catalogue comes in I will stock up as of my 500points for $150 deal for some extra points.

Last week when it was from memory about 36 cents/100 it was not, and so I passed on the toilet bonus points. It was only the 8 packs which had the bonus points.

You are correct, but only for the past two weeks where there has been specific bonii for individual items in the catalogue... I believe that both markis and myself were referring to items you can easily purchase to get you to the required spend to earn the bonus. The type of bonius I am talking about is one like this

Spend over $150 for a bonus 500 Frequent Flyer Points
NOT just buying the items out of the catalogue with the highest advertised QFF bonus per item purchased.

If the particular item is on special or sale then its even more a winner...!

Yep the boni points for buying the 8 pack was not worth it. I notice that they were sold out of the 8 packs at my local Woolies, but heaps of the 16 packs in stock, which, as you said are cheaper per 100 sheets.

The post about buying "toilet paper" was more in reference to spending up $$$ to hit a $150 spend or similar.

I usually buy canned foods/washing powders/shaving cream/deodorant/dishwashing tablets and toothpaste to get my spend up as those items last for years and are usually $$$. At the same time I will only buy those products which are on sale

As someone else said, it's no good wasting $$$ just to earn a few points

Points are showing from my weekend shop I did go a little crazy with the "boni point specials" but nothing really out of the ordinary!

Im really starting to feel on the outer with Woolies . No targeted offers since early December & missed the double points last weekend as I shopped on the Friday & didn't see the offer until got home....grrrrr.

Thanks Shintaro10x I picked it up too, signed up to their email list so interesting to see if any of these come in the future

Email Offer (TARGETED)

But the link is good for anyone as you have found out...Pretty good offer for the cheaper style wines, meh for white wines I'm not that fussy as long as it is not too sweet...

Thanks - Will let you know when they arrive ! I also signed myself up to their email specials for $10 off, but then had to purchase another 6 wines

Virgin also have a similar offer but $99.99 for 1000 points... So 1300 points for $99.99

Damn my order last night was just over $120 and could have used this $50 voucher

GRRRRRRR

This offer is valid for 90 days and this voucher can only be used for purchases with a minimum order value of $120.

I am sure I'll buy something in 90 days, looking forward to the next bonus points offer so I can use it

I bought 2 of the everyday wine packs for a total to Perth of $105, delivered. Under $4.40 a bottle, so even if they are poor wines and just for cooking it's not a bad deal...

Interesting the T&C's state "Limit of one $69 Everyday Rewards dozen per customer"

Also let us know if you get 1000 bonus points or just 500

It said 694 (or something close) points so I doubt we'll get the 1000, but I'm fairly sure the 2 dozens will arrive.

I would say that only 500 bonus points will be awarded, I believe this because if you have two dozen (Everyday Rewards dozen x 2) then in the checkout it clearly states the following: -

Qantas Frequent Flyer Points earnt: 652

Interestingly it appears that you get QFF on the full amount even if you use the $50 discount code as mentioned above. Pretty hard to go past this offer for value now, so count me on-board...

Sub Total:$138.00
Less Discount:
CEL*********** (Voucher)-$50.00
Goods Delivery Guarantee:$2.00
Freight:$11.90
Total:$101.90

2 dozen wines (Cheap plonk for the misses & her white wine drinking friends) + 652 QFF for just over a $100.... 602

Thanks to the poster with the discount code link :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Can confirm points earn rate if you order two of the EDR wine packs at $69 each + $13.90 Delivery to Adelaide :

You earned 602 Frequent Flyer Points on card *****************

Basically you get points for the purchase & delivery price, however by the looks of it you DO NOT get any points on the $50 credit voucher if you used one. My earlier post saying that you do was based on what the check-out screen showed, however on the order confirmation slip there was 50 QFF less ...

Still an OK deal me thinks...

Okay so bonus points offers from this weeks catalog, that look like good value for me.... YMMV of course

Ski Yoghurt - $3.98 - 15 points
Nudie Juice - $4.99 - 15 points
Toilet Paper 24 pack - 26c per 100 sheets - $12 - 35 points - I like the pricing on this !!!!!! lovestravellingoz already mentioned this.... I can see myself filling a trolley with this
Colgate Total $5.99 - 20 points

Should get about 500 points from this, plus my "we miss you offer" of 500 points, so 1000 points again for a likely $180 spend!

Well, my test was successful. After having not received any promotions at all since moving to the UK I had my card used for me on a food shop over $30 and since then I've been getting promos again. I still find it odd that they would be silent with their promos when you don't use for long periods of time, surely they would want to be enticing you back to the program:!:

Quite a few have posted about receiving a 'we miss you' offer. I have never received one when I haven't used my card for a period of time either - maybe they just don't miss us enough :p

I think you can only use one discount code, but as this referral goes into your "wine bank" you may be able to use the wine dollars as well as a coupon code. I will have a look when I get back to Perth and my EDR card, but it's worth a shot anyway.

Hmm. So it seems you get the $20 after your first order, so it won't work towards discounts ont he initial order, but does seem to stack with a coupon code. May order another 2 if I get the bonus fast enough. The second order would be around $82 for 24 wines!!
