EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Just received a second offer this week

Just received the same. However, I am waiting on my bonus 750 the other weekend. Looking into it I put the order through On-line on the Sunday, however it was processed by Woolworths on the Monday and therefore they haven't come through. Is that valid, my transaction technically occurred within the qualifying period ie. money/purchase was taken on the Sunday. "enter your card number at the time of purchase to qualify for your reward". Anyone else had this issue?

Last week had an offer: Spend $30, get 250 bonus points, this week: Spend $50, get 250 bonus points. Next week: Spend $70, get 250 bonus points??

Must remember to use my WWEDRCC for double points at WW through to 9 June.

I have received that one as well. I won't be even close to activating it.

I got the spend $120/500 points, $160/750 points.

There's no way I'll spend $120. $80 I could stretch to, but $120 is too high. Won't even bother activating.

Me too !! How often can we spend $120 at Woollies in one shop? The coupons are for $160. $80 is achievable at a stretch.

Mum - 250 bonus points for $50 spend at Woolworths
Me - 750 bonus points for $120 spend or 500 bonus points for $80 spend
Brother - 750 bonus points for $160 spend or 500 bonus points for $120 spend

Dad still has the 500 bonus for $80 spend coupon. Could have been a ripper weekend if I was here. Mum doesn't want to split the shopping anymore.

In saying that I would much rather the $10 off as these points are worthless.

1000 points for $200 spend. We are still away so this is of no use until next week.
I will spend more than $200 at the end of next week but probably not receive an offer

Snap. More love from Woolies. My good point bonuses seem to be on a fortnightly rotation with a cough offer between so it is making it very easy to accumulate points at the moment.

So whilst playing hard to get may work after 5 weeks for some, consistency seems to be the name of the game for me!

As if by magic my fortnightly big bonus comes around again. This time 1000 points for $200. Ordinarily this would could be achieved but we are off on a 5 week overseas trip next Friday so likely will not be up at our usual spend level.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, I spend $125 a fortnight on public transport in and around Sydney that can be purchased via Woolies so I am very fortunate to be able to achieve these targets which never seem to exceed the $200 mark. The remainder can easily be made up with regular day to day requirements.

There should be other terms and conditions in the offer which say that the qualifying order must be picked up or delivered during the offer period. An order placed on the Sunday but not obtained until the Monday, unfortunately doesn't qualify. The wording you have quoted however is very interesting and I can see why it could be interpreted the way you did. You might be able to argue your point with a supervisor at the Call Center and if you are very lucky they might credit the points manually, just for this transaction.

One family member
WW $120 for 500 points
WW $160 for 750 points

Another
WW $80 for 500 points
WW $120 for 750 points

Will activate the 2nd offer and use it

Two accounts got the spend $80 for 500 points or spend $120 for 750 points. The targets are too high for us so this week we will only be getting a small amount of groceries from both Coles and Woolworths.

$275/1000 points offer. Not going to happen. Not when mum has a 5 x $120/1000 offer for WW online with free delivery!

Yes also got the $80/500 or $$120/750 offer. First decent offer I have had in 12 months from WW ( Mainly because i have been shopping at Coles ). Coincidently , or not , i got this after i received the Flybuys offer for $130/750 for this weekend.

Just got my final points posting for the month off Woolies and they have given me just over 3,000 points during May. If every month were like that I'd have a free return J trip to MEL or BNE each year. Feeling the love! :)

Yes, but they still need to make it a realistic total based on the usual spend. The cards that were sent the offer are used for transactions of $30 to $50 so a target of $60-80 would be reasonable. $120 seems to be a benchmark total for Everyday Rewards but is out of reach for someone who only spends less than $50 in an average transaction.
$60 to $80 range might be reasonable to you, but they are the ones running the promo and they want a bigger share of wallet. They may consider that for the points on offer, more people will increase their average shop size (but correspondingly some will decrease their number of shops to compensate and maintain same overall spend). However, they have successfully got you using their products and you might change your habits - now that is what they really want.

Not everyone has the same willpower you have for only spending the minimum amount to reach the promo...

Took advantage of the 250 points for $50 today.
Purchased a $50 myer giftcard and $2 of chocolate!
Bring on the next offer.

Just got 1000 points for $275 offer :-/ I think the only time we've ever spent over $200 was when we had 15 family members around for Christmas
