EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

It's just you. I got the $10 off for $50 spend, which you can use each week for 3 weeks. Too high a target for me, more likely to go with flybuys for a while longer.

Edit- and Coles do too in WA.

Well that makes me feel REALLY left out :( . I've never received anything like that from Coles either, despite being a Flybuys member since it first started.

It's pretty annoying, as I'd easily reach a $30 or $50 spend, but usually don't get anywhere near $100. And despite never taking up any of the double points offers (as they usually have ridiculous spend targets), they keep sending those to me, but rarely ever anything else.

Does anyone save the pop up screen ''thanks for activating this offer' screen? I only saved the original email offer from EDR and now they are asking me for the ''thanks for activating this offer screen'' as proof. This pop up screen ''thanks for activating'' is not an email but a pop up and is not easy to save. Has anyone had this issue where EDR has asked for the pop up screen ''thanks for activating'' rather than the original offer email?

thanks

No offers for a while and now suddenly 3 (out of 4) cards have the spend $30 get $5 off for 3 weeks each.

We also recieved the 2000pt for $50 online spend. Think its time I had a go at WW online shopping. We don't really need anything in particular so I'll be looking at what regular items are on sale.

So well and truly 6 weeks.

I never got a "we miss you" offer when I didn't shop for 6 weeks earlier in the year. Must not be worth enough to EDR :p

Were you rating your offers (unfavourably with words thrown in)?

Boycott them for a few weeks. Wk 1 cut spend using card by 1/2, wk 2 3/4 then don't use it at all.

Know someone with a cat who likes Whiskas? Very easy to get to limit as 24 for $20 is 52% off price....

and you were using the card regularly?

No. I didn't shop at woolies for 6 weeks and had no offers. So what I was suggesting is that my weekly spend dropping off the radar obviously wasn't enough for EDR to care.

Since then I had a series of ridiculous targets which I ignored before getting a few good ones and we're back to ridiculous again.

I know it's not meant to be easy and the point of EDR is to get me to spend. This isn't meant to be a whinge. Just an observation ;)

Close - it's a CHALLENGE...

The algorithms normally work off a variation rather than a cold-turkey effect. A zero use after sustained use would be interpreted as you've gone overseas, had a medical emergency or worse. A gradual decline should elicit a more favourable outcome.

Yes, working the algorithm to your advantage is definitely the game.

Usually when I go overseas and my card isn't used, I get a 'we miss you' offer, but these seem to have vanished...
