EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Two of our accounts got double points offer for the weekend. I don't think we'll be using it. Our next shopping trip at Woolworths will be for my partner's account which has the $50 credit on his card.

Mum - double points this weekend
Dad - double points this weekend
Me - double points this weekend

I'm wondering whether they decided to credit the card directly as it was quicker than sending them through the post to WA. This means you'll probably be the first to receive your reward.

Hmmm, not sure whether this will be the case - have just had another look at the Ts & Cs, which state: "Promotion is applicable in Woolworths Supermarkets in Western Australia." (so must be our version of the "Cash for Christmas" promo). "Your $30 reward will be available to use on your Everyday Rewards card by 8 December 2014 after you spend the qualifying amount during Week 3 (3 November to 9 November 2014).

So going by that, it could still take anything up to a month for the $30 to be credited to the card, which is about the same time it takes for them to send the gift cards out anyway!

Got the double points as well as some targetted discounts on products I have recently purchased such as kitty litter, shampoo and toothpaste. Finally a useful promotion that will increase my spend.

I got this as well, and thought at first they were targeted discounts for me in addition to the usual weekly specials as I hadn't seen most of them in this week's catalogue, but when I checked the website, all of the ones listed in my email are just normal specials available to everyone in-store and online.

Same here, double points and Colgate discounts today.

Instead I took up Mrs QF WP's BWS spend $100 and get 500 bonus points - $130 of beer and wine, all needed as we have a student free day on Monday and we're off to Noosa for 4 days. 600 points + 130 on CC.

Tried checking some of our family member accounts to see if Cash for Christmas offers had appeared. They hadn't this morning but I thought it was worth checking. There were no new offers there but I don't think things were working properly as some of the details on the account were missing.

The EDR accounts seem to be working fine now. I checked my partner's account and there was no Cash For Christmas offer in it. I used the Contact Us form to find out why there was a banner to say there would be an offer by 16/10/14 but no offer in the offers section by the 17/10/14.

There is a new contact option in the contact us section. We now have the option of "Live Chat". Has anyone tried this option?

Haven't tried it yet, but I notice there's also now a "Chat Online" option on the Big W website, which I'm sure wasn't there before.

I called yesterday to ask where my offer was and was told it should appear by the 22nd. I explained what the website says, but I was told that is wrong!

Checked my EDR Account Got an offer for Christmas promotion

Spend $150 for 3 weeks. Receive $45 gift card

After quite a good run with the $120/500 or $160/750 points offers a few months ago I've seen nothing whatsoever since then.
Based on that I've moved across to Aldi for the majority of my groceries.

I used the $50 credit on my partner's Everyday Rewards card. EDR loaded the credit in a very unusual way. $50 came off the total at the end and left me with only 31cents to pay. The receipt made very interesting reading. I got 20 base points for the transaction and a fuel voucher. I've checked the account and the fuel voucher is there. That account has a double points offer this week so eventually we'll get a total of 40 points for the transaction. Not bad for an investment of 31cents, or 29cents when you take into consideration that it was paid for by discounted Wish cards.

Got a reminder that I'd signed up Mrs QF WP for the 3 week challenge. As we had a long weekend away, the cupboard is bare :o
