One account spend $50 for 3 weeks for a $50 gift card and another spend $100 a week for a $100 gift card. A couple accounts spend $100 a week for a $30 gift card
They don't need to have a loyalty program to convince my parents.I'm sure the boss of EDR is delighted to hear it. Actual loyalty. Who would have thought.
I received the "$150 x 3 for $45" offer. I'm not even going to bother activating it.
I recently logged into my EDR account for the first time in over three years, and filled in some extra profile details. Our household income is in their highest option ($100,000+), so being the truthful person that I am, that's what I put. But being suspicious, I've just changed it to a less-truthful "$55,000 - $69,999". Let's see if that gets me back to the lower-hanging fruit.
Has anyone here with access to more than one EDR account ever noticed any correlation between profile and offers?
You are right. I should have paid more attention and got mum to spend $15.01 and use the voucher and put the rest of the spend on my card.Did you check the conditions in the email that offered you the voucher? Given it was targeted voucher to one particular EDR card holder, it seems entirely reasonable that the voucher is linked to the card regardless of where the voucher is printed.
$15 Voucher conditions said:To redeem Bonus Voucher spend $15 or more and present the voucher and your Everyday Rewards card for scanning. Bonus Voucher is not transferable and is valid for one redemption only at participating Woolworths supermarkets. Bonus Voucher cannot be redeemed at Woolworths Online. Bonus Voucher cannot be applied to purchases of Liquor, smoking/tobacco products, gift cards and selected services. Lost or Stolen Bonus Vouchers are valuable and cannot be replaced. Page 29 of the Woolworths catalogue which comes out tomorrow suggests that all EDR members will be eligible for Cash for Christmas except those in Tasmania and Western Australia. Woolworths supermarkets don't have EDR in Tasmania so that part makes sense. I have no idea why Western Australia is excluded from the promotion. Perhaps there is a separate promotion for Western Australia. My speculation is that the exact target and gift card will be different from member to member. New members will probably get the $30 card for the 3 x $100 spends as this seems to be the target for some of the general offers of this type.
My 'cheers offer for being a member" is 300 points for $30 of spirits at BWS
I'm in Perth and have just received a Cash for Christmas offer, so it seems WA is included after all. Unfortunately it's the 3 x $100 spend for $30 gift card one (and I'm not a new member, have been with EDR for several years) - I've only just completed an identical offer (plus a $100 spend for $15 voucher ""bonus week") a few weeks ago which was well above my usual spend anyway, so won't be activating or using this offer as I've already stocked up and don't need to get anywhere near the required spend for this offer for a while.
ETA: Have just noticed this offer is slightly different in that the $30 isn't a gift card but will be put on the EDR card.
Thanks for letting us know. I'm wondering whether they decided to credit the card directly as it was quicker than sending them through the post to WA. This means you'll probably be the first to receive your reward.
That sounds pretty do-able
