EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Yesterday I spent $160 at Woollies Town Hall Sydney to redeem the '750 points for $160 spend' offer. I topped up our families 5 OPAL cards, most of which had low balances (between $5-$15). The staff did not want to do this in one transaction saying their 'policy' was individual transactions. I knew this to be incorrect as I have topped up at least 2 OPAL cards on one transaction several times so stood my ground. They backed down and rung up the 5 transactions on the till and I paid for them with 5% off WISH cards and then they recharged the OPAL cards. Now let us see if the 750 bonus points post! I will report back.

I wondered about that. I used my voucher at the petrol station specified in the email but I could have gotten the petrol 2 cents cheaper if I had used another WW petrol station I passed on the same trip further away from home. I'm still happy with the savings I got.

Petrol points came through about 5 days after purchase

The assistant in Starmart Caltex in Neutral Bay, Sydney said that you would get the 4c discount but no bonus discount as it is not a WW Caltex.
Wouldn't accept an eWISH card either-grrr!

Received email about our spend $200 for 3 weeks to get a $60 gift card. Stated we were CLOSE to qualifying for week 1. In the details... Only $132 left! Didn't realise we spent $68 at woolies this week.

I wasn't going to bother but then Mrs SydneySwan spent $77+ on my EDR card on Wednesday. As our target is $100 I bought some milk and did a $20 OPAL top up yesterday to keep us in the game. My receipt printed out 'Cash for Easter Congratulations! You have just qualified for this week''.

My receipt also printed out "Cash for Easter Congratulations! You have just qualified for this week'' after I purchased over $100 of groceries and some travel 10 bus tickets which have always earnt EDR for me in the past. A day later I received an email telling me I am close to reaching my $100 target and needed further $55 spend (approx cost of bus tickets) Checked my account and the bus ticket spend was not counted as eligible. Hoping the Opal top ups I plan for next week are still ok?

I didn't get a congratulations message after my 2nd transaction but I spent the right amount based on the email that was sent after my first transaction. I hope they keep track of things properly. There was one other promotion EDR lost track of when members used multiple transactions. I hope they get it right this time.
