EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I hope mine is working correctly. I had spent the $130 over 2 shops, but even though we made the target we never received any "Cash for Easter Congratulations! You have just qualified for this week" message on our receipts. It definitely has our card number on the receipt.

We also had a 50% off Calci-Yum 120g pouches, so bought 19 of them to find out that it didn't go through at the checkout. Had both children with us so didn't notice it hadn't gone through until later. I feel ripped off about this one - I wouldn't have bought so many! The store said it had nothing to do with them, call up EDR, so I did and the lady said I should have printed the email out to show the cashier... Nowhere on the offer/email did it say that I had to print it out, it just had a big Activate Offer button (Yes, I pushed this about 3 times during the week!). They gave me a $10 gift card which is less value than the offer. Annoying as I purchased way more than normal.

Received a targeted email with the title <name>, specials selected for you, containing 12 items, they might want to check as some of the items were not the advertised price.

Checked my account and the bus ticket spend was not counted as eligible. Hoping the Opal top ups I plan for next week are still ok?

I am surprised bus tickets are not counted. I have been told by EDR that OPAL doesn't count either but in my experience it has always done so as the promised reward has always posted.

Offered $25 off $100 online shop before 1/3/15 with SAVE25W with an extra 5% off for delivery/collect on 25/2/15 with FLASH. No idea if person specific

Went along quite nicely with this:

After a few clicks came out with:

Spend of $124 on Amex ( 124 x 1.5 = 186pts)
Regular 1pt per $ over $30 = 94pts
750 bonus points for spend over $120

To produce a total saving of $73 on a $220 spend plus a 1030 point haul. Thanks EDR.

We're on track for the $90. I can't believe that we can actually spend over $300 a week on Woolies shopping - two adults, two teens. The only benefit is owning WOW shares?

Wow, that's impressive. The last lot of new customer offers was only 2000 points for a $50 shop. The value of 5000 points is actually quite high compared to a $50 outlay. Some people could get $33 worth of value from 5000 points and many members could get even more than this.

Thanks SydneySwan. This may be of interest.
My receipt also printed out "Cash for Easter Congratulations! You have just qualified for this week'' after I purchased over $100 of groceries and some travel 10 bus tickets which have always earnt EDR for me in the past. A day later I received an email telling me I am close to reaching my $100 target and needed further $55 spend (approx cost of bus tickets) Checked my account and the bus ticket spend was not counted as eligible. Hoping the Opal top ups I plan for next week are still ok?

If that's true it must be recent. I only switched to Opal late 2014, and bus tickets at WW was always my way to top up spend if needed. It's always a hassle putting a transaction "on hold" and a register to go to the customer service counter and add the bus tickets/Opal recharge to the same receipt though

Very nice. Seeing this I should have passed on my first online shop offer. Suckered in with 2,000 points for $50 spend.

Absolutely worth the few minutes hassle in my books.

The interesting thing is that as I'm retired I tend to go for a coffee at my local shops each morning. I would say that as I'm there, I would buy something from woolies everyday. I'm not complaining about the points though!
However I don't think I'll be a big user of online shopping, unless there are more incentives like this one.

Are these offers via email or SMS? I never seem to get offers like that and I've ticked all the subscriptions on the website so that they think I'm interested in everything.

That's a worry for me. I didn't get a reminder email even though I spent the qualifying amount last week. I wonder whether they've lost track of the multiple shop option again.
