EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

The missus got double points on a shop over $30 which will be made no problems, in conjunction with the $10 statement credit from Amex.

I got 2x 10cpl petrol discounts, my EDR cards never been used but somehow they know we've been cheating on them with BP recently haha.

500 points for $100 spend this week (my own fault for spending $90 last time when I only needed to spend $75 :( ) but won't use it as I don't need to buy groceries for the 4 of the next 7 weeks. There's only so much washing powder, dishwasher tablets and toilet paper that I can stockpile ;)

killed both my offers last night ($100=500 & $120=500) but hubby called me in the middle of checkout and disrupted my chain of thought - used my personal CC instead of the company CC to pay for the $96.60 worth of "security" dog food. Now have to get work to pay me.

Mr Natalie received a we miss you offer for 300 points for $50 spend. Much better than my $160 target.

Brother - 750 bonus points for $160 spend
Me - 750 bonus points for $160 spend

I have done the same in the past and bonus points have always posted although they may take up to two weeks to do so.

I've taken to keeping the e-mails and flagging them, then deleting them once the points appear.

For the past three weeks running, my offers have been 250 points for $35, $30 and $35 (the most recent one combined with $10 Amex credit, FTW). Still haven't seen the bonus points for the first one, but I'll wait a bit longer.

EDIT: OK, so the 250 points for the $30 offer have since appeared in my EDR account this afternoon. I wonder if that means I'll need to chase the bonus points for the first $35 offer.

So they send Mrs QF WP another offer timed before the Week 1/2/3 $15 saving offer.

Intriguing - think we'll pull the trigger on this one for this weeks' home shopping (always above $200 - that's the offer threshold) and I'll do shopping for the office on the $125 from 8 June on the save $15.

Win, win ;)

Trigger pulled today - seems that I have a shed load of food to unpack tomorrow morning :o

Think the next 3 weeks small offers will be needed to bring down the spend hurdle on her card

Took up a $120/500 point offer today, needed to spend that amount anyway. Four & Twenty pies 4 pack down to $4, winning! :)

Woolies is going back to its roots Cookies must be enabled. | The Australian

The end of WOW/QF as we know it?

I've just done another online survey run by Woolworths discussing possible changes to the loyalty program. I think they will need the suppliers agreement and co-operation in order to put through some of the proposed changes. The new system might be moving away from a points system and into a "dollars back in the next transaction" system where the suppliers will have to agree to some sort of reduced margin in order to keep the customers buying their products. This is all speculation at this point as there is no way of knowing which changes WW will actually implement in the final program.

Once spoke to a supplier for WW. Not pretty how they described how they were being squeezed even back then. They had one of their own labels and did a few select lines for WW. Made them laugh when I told them I bought their select products for the bonus points. Their margins were already that tight, they had to employ backpackers cash in hand to stay viable despite WW squeezing them and squeezing them.

I wasn't wrong with the shed load of food - $493 worth (and she hates shopping)...at least 463 points plus CC points will look good.

Imagine how good a double point offer would have been :o ;)

Had another 1000 point offer for $200 spend! My fourth over last 6 weeks!

Anyone invited to a feedback session at a woolworths?

I was invited to one about 3 or so years ago. It was at a store that I popped into between the train and the car. Definitely not the store I spent most $ at.

It was in the staff room, hosted by a market research person, and the store manager and area manager also attended. Was focussed on the store- appearance, stock, staff etc. One other person and I mentioned EDR but it definitely wasn't a focus point of the session.
